1 Lalor (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the debut run two weeks back in the Magic Millions at Murray Bridge. He was on speed throughout and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Rich On Bubbles. Lands on speed once again and should be around the mark.

3 The Speed Machine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was scratched from an easier race at Pakenham on Thursday in preference for this. Price/Kent first starter that looks to have jumped out really well for start one and overall, he strikes a race with not much depth, so keen to see how he goes.

2 Czech Out (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Richards/Moyle trained juvenile that resumes after a debut second here in the Spring in a three horse field, the race won by Moana Spirit. That form reads well for a race like this so watch betting.

5 Miss Slipstream (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was backed with confidence on Adelaide Cup Day on the course proper and the bets were landed, sitting on speed and she gave nothing else a look in. She has come back in really good order and is one of the hardest to beat.

1 Justa Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an Andrew Gluyas trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since April 5 last year when placing in the Nitschke behind Stay Focused. Has clearly had issues but with three trials under the belt, he’s got a good enough grounding to give this a shake.

4 Heaven Rocks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was one and done when last in work, with the one run resulting in a win on the course proper on Melbourne Cup Day. Looks to have jumped out well for the return so watch betting.

3 I Am Piki (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive winner two weeks ago at Murray Bridge, giving them a start and a beating, making a sustained run from off speed to get the job done. She’s found winning form, she can certainly go on with it.

7 Sassy For Sure (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a real eye catcher from last Saturday at this track/distance. She got too far back in the run on a day where up/in was ideal so her run in defeat behind Cork Harbour was very good. If she can settle closer, she takes beating.

6 More Than Hope (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was far from disgraced on Adelaide Cup Day on the course proper when on speed and fought hard but just had no answers to go with a nice three year old, Mathematician. Back to this level, he’s in the mix.

5 Savsonic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up in trip after racing over 2000m on Adelaide Cup Day. She sat near the speed, doing work to get there. She kept chasing and was far from disgraced in defeat. Like the rise in trip for her and despite this being a 78, gee it looks a thin race, so I think she’s worth an each way ticket.

2 Burning Bright (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after a track/distance win last Saturday, sitting just off speed and was absolutely trucking before angling into clear air and she made a mess of them to score. Her confidence is up, she can go on with it.

4 Sentimental Flame (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was well and truly thrown in the deep end last start in the Adelaide Cup and ran accordingly, finishing near last behind American Wolf. Much better suited at this level and this trip, she can win if there is petrol left in the tank.

7 Arizona Wildfire (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks prepped right up for a forward first up showing for Team Jaensch. He hasn’t raced since a debut placing over 1000m here on Oct 10 in what hasn’t been a bad maiden as a form reference. Stack of trial work under the belt, he’s here to play so watch betting.

3 City Pro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a first up third at this track/distance when off speed and worked home with purpose when third to Ramasis. Better for the run and can settle much closer, he appeals.

1 Aramoso (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has had 30 starts to break the maiden status. Fair chance he won’t be winning one anytime soon but for exotics, he can be entertained. He ran three weeks back over this track/distance when on speed and fought hard but just felt the pinch late. He’s a first four contender.

5 A Samurai Mind (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was really good in defeat in the CS Hayes on Adelaide Cup Day when off speed and worked home with purpose when third to impressive winner Arran Bay. He has that hard run at the mile under the belt so back to 1400m, he clearly appeals.

1 Bamyan Buddha (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was down the track in the CS Hayes. He did early work to hold a forward spot from the gate and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. Back to 1400m I like, good racing style, he’s around the mark.

2 Cintque Torri (Bet Now:  $SP.00) attempted to lead throughout two weeks back at Murray Bridge over this trip, giving a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late behind Star Sirius. Like him with a more patient steer so if that can eventuate here, think he’ll run a much improved race.

1 Hot Digity Boom (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m after racing over the mile three weeks ago at Flemington. He got into a decent spot off speed and tried hard but for mine, 1600m at this levle just found him out. Much better suited at 1400m for mine and form out of last start has been franked by Ahha Ahha.

6 Texan Windstorm (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance placing when on speed and he tried hard in the straight but just couldn’t quite finish the job when second to Placo. Tick over jumpout was good, he’ll press forward and only run well.

2 Super Lad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a total forgive from two weeks back behind Star Sirius at Murray Bridge. To the eye, he was plain, but he never really got going at any stage and was found to be 2/5 lame. If he’s recovered from that, he can run an improved race.

4 In Love (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a strong all the way winner at this track/distance a few weeks back. Credit to her, she was there to be beaten but she found under pressure to fend them off and score. Good racing style and despite more depth here, she commands respect.

9 Smashing Action (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in the mix for Justin Pickering after racing over this trip on Adelaide Cup Day on the course proper when near the speed and was there to win I thought. Just lacked the killer blow to put them away when fourth. Has run well here previously, she’s in the mix.

3 Ice Symphony (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is five weeks between runs since resuming at this track/distance. He landed in a decent spot just off speed and I thought was there to win but he just couldn’t quite get there when second to Mintulee. Better for the run, he’s a key chance against these.

8 Delightful Shecky (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up in trip after resuming four weeks ago on the course proper over 1200m. He got back to near last in the run and seemingly tracked up alright but when asked for the effort, he just whacked in the run to the line. Fitter, can settle closer and be effective late. Definite threat.

1 Streetcar Apollo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m here. He landed in a decent spot near the speed and was there to win but couldn’t quite finish the job and just felt the pinch late behind Placo. Racing well and only has to hold his form to be around the mark.

5 Brave Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came three weeks back over 1000m here. He was beaten for early speed and was never really a threat, finishing down the track behind Nextonixs. Fitter, 1250m, more positive ride, he’s a definite improver.

3 Top Of The Ridge (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should prove hard to beat. He was a real eye catcher on Adelaide Cup Day over the mile, getting back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose when fourth. If he can settle closer and be within range, he’ll take holding out.

7 Safe Bet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key chance for Mick Huxtable. He ran on Adelaide Cup Day over the mile when on speed and fought really hard in the straight but had to settle for a narrow second to Brown Nose Day Gal. Knocking on the door to win and commands respect.

9 Hysterical Lady (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1550m after racing two weeks back over 1400m at Murray Bridge. She got off speed and seemingly had her chance but was far from disgraced in defeat behind Anahorish. Like the rise in trip for her and she strikes a winnable race.
