Golden Rose Information

The Golden Rose is a Group l sprint race and is the first Group l of the Sydney Spring. It is held at Rosehill racecourse each year over 1400m.

The race is at Group l level and boasts a total prize pool of $1 Million and is at Set Weights.

The 2020 Golden Rose will be run on Saturday the 26th of September, 2020 at Rosehill racecourse.

The Golden Rose is a great race and can secure the breeding future of a colt if they are successful, as you can see with the last four winners of the race.

Since the inception in, only one filly has won, Forensics, but keep in mind that not many fillies have contested the race.
