How does the Swedish-owned Unibet.com.au compare to some of the larger bookmakers in Australia? We put them to the test to find out.
- Simple and effective website design
- Best Tote Odds available
- 15% owners bonus if you back your horse
- 120% Welcome bonus on your first deposit
- Some questionable colour scheme decisions
Unibet.com.au is a Swedish-owned company that have been in the Australian industry since 2912 when it acquired bookmaker Betchoice.
Their origins have seen them focus on many international sports, especially soccer, where you can find a huge range of markets each day.
Their racing products are still well respected among punters and offer Best Tote odds on Australian Thoroughbred racing each day.
Their website is straight to the point which we think is great. We do question some of their colour schemes though. Can’t say we were a fan of light green on a grey background but if thats the biggest issue we have then they shouldn’t be too worried!
Overall Unibet is a great option for punters and their first bet offer of a $300 welcome bonus bet is very generous.
We were draw to the Unibet.com.au for a number of reasons. Tthey offer a generous $300 welcome bonus.
Our first impressions of the app were positive, it’s simple and sleek.
We did think that the homepage of the app could have more content such as upcoming racing and sports markets rather than the latest promotions – but we do love promotions here at JustHorseRacing.com.au!
We were slightly concerned when we went to navigate through some of the markets that we were greeted with a load screen. This isn’t ideal but from our experience it wasn’t a deal breaker.
The great promotions, markets and odds that Unibet offer is certainly a great reason to sign up and bet with Unibet.
We were big fans with the Unibet.com.au App before reviewing their mobile site and when we noticed that they had adopted a similar design to their mobile site we were very pleased.
In fact their mobile site is so similar to their app at times we had to second guess which we were using.
Of course their mobile site has some of the same issues such as slow load times with certain pages but overall it’s a solid design and is very user friendly when it comes to placing a bet.
