What makes Ladbrokes.com.au great? Other than having one of the best signup offers available, Ladbrokes has prided itself on being the most initiative bookmaker on the market.
- Big bonus bet of $500
- Ladbrokes allows you to split up your free deposit bonus
- Debit card available to all Australian customers (withdraw your winnings from an ATM)
- Best tote odds and best starting price on all thoroughbred racing
- Very sleek website which is easy to navigate and use
- Can be slow with fixed odds markets for midweek meetings
The smart punters choose Ladbrokes.com.au as their bookmaker, and with good reason. They provide more options and more value than just about any other bookmaker, and is always trying to improve its services so the punter can enjoy their experience.
With a much wider range of racing and sports betting, it’s easy to see why people are betting with them.
The website is very sharp, and the obvious big advantage is the Visa debit card, a world first for corporate bookmakers. That introduction has made them one of the most popular.
Their bonus bet offer is deposit $500 and get it matched with a $500 bonus bet, and like Betstar and Bookmaker, that can be divided up into four bets, not just one bet.
The first thing that you notice when using the Ladbrokes app is how sleek the design is. The colour balance really works for them and it’s extremely easy on the eye.
When we logged in to our account we were pleased with the fact that it allows you to use fingerprint identification to login in future should you have it setup on your smart phone. This is one feature that some other bookmaker apps should look to incorporate in future as it can be really quite frustrating entering your password each time.
The app gets another tick of approval with their easy deposit and withdrawal methods. It’s always a pleasant surprise to see a bookmaker making it just as easy to withdraw money as it is to deposit it. The Ladbrokes Visa Cash Card has been a huge hit with punters since the initiative launched and using the mobile app you can quickly withdraw winnings to your cash card and bet taking it out of an ATM the very next moment.
As we have come to learn with Ladbrokes is that they are market leaders with ideas and initiative which is why it shouldn’t be a surprise to us to see they’ve launched an app for the Apple Watch. While we are yet to test the Apple Watch app it already gets a tick of approval simply for being available.
The only feature we think the app could benefit from is a black book. If you’re at the local TAB having a bet and see a horse you want to follow a feature to save that horse and be notified of it’s future runs could really improve this app.
We’re writing this review following our review of the Ladbrokes Mobile App and to our surprise it holds up just as well. Other bookmakers have let themselves down with lackluster mobile sites thinking they can get away with just an app but Ladbrokes have clearly spent the time to make their mobile site great.
It’s got all the features of their app minus a few, such as the fingerprint ID to login. But other than that it’s hard to find a flaw.
Loading the site was very quick and unlike some competitors it’s easy to make your way around the site to the markets you want. The speed of their mobile site is equal to the best we have seen.
We were also impressed that it’s up to date with their latest features such as live streaming. The thought of streaming video from a mobile browser can be off-putting at times but the team Ladbrokes have made it easier than ever.
Ovarall the Ladbrokes team should be commended for developing such a great mobile site that stays up to date with everything their main site has on offer.
