Racing at Hamilton in Victoria has been abandoned on Tuesday following a burst water pipe on the track.
The meeting, scheduled to commence at 1:30pm, was called off after officials discovered the burst pipe at the 300-metre mark rendered the track unsuitable for racing.
The abandonment marks a disappointing outcome for connections as well as racing in Victoria as no other meetings are scheduled to race with Monday also being a race free day in the state.
Racing Victoria confirmed the abandonment was due to track conditions caused by the infrastructure failure.
No alternative date has been announced for the rescheduling of the fixture at this stage.
