Senor Toba $11-$8 (after winning Frank Packer Plate @ Randwick)

THE GOODWOOD

Savatiano $15-$11

Prague $26-$15

Alfa Oro $17-$26

RANDWICK

RACE TWO

Kiku was pretty costly in the Mostyn Copper JHB Carr Stakes (1400 metres).

Chris Waller’s filly was responsible for over half the total investment on the race. In fact, she held five times the amount of money than any other runner.

All Hallowes Eve ($7-$6.50) had nice eachway bets riding on her and held the most money outside the favourite.

BETS: All Hallowes Eve $1,000 @ $6.50 TWICE

BETS: Kiku $10,000 @ $2.30

RACE THREE

Senor Toba caused a big upset in the ACY Securities Frank Packer Plate (2000 metres).

Going around at $26 on TAB Fixed Odds, the son of Toronado was $41 in the morning so there was a bit of specking at the price for the Chris Waller galloper. He peaked at $61 on Thursday.

Lions Roar ($1.95-$2.20) got the wobbles but still held the most money clearly, with High Supremacy ($3.10) and Khoekhoe ($3.50-$4.80) next best in that regard.

Of the rest, Santadeal ($61-$23) was specked.

BETS: Senor Toba $250 x $350 e/w @ $61/$6

RACE FOUR

The late push for Paths Of Glory paid dividends for his backers in the Sharp Extensive IT JRA Plate (2000 metres).

The Richard & Michael Freedman-trained gelding was $9.50-$7.50 in the final stages of betting and aided by a gun ride by Rachel King, beat the favourite Zaaki ($2.50-$3.20-$3.10).

Zaaki was a slight drifter but attracted plenty of money, going around with nearly 40 percent of the market.

BETS: Hang Man $4,000 e/w @ $8/$2.30

BETS: Entente $2,000 @ $4.20, $1,900 @ $3.90

BETS: Zaaki $2,000 @ $3.20 MULTIPLE TIMES, $1,000 @ $3.20 MULTIPLE TIMES, $2,000 @ $3.10

RACE FIVE

Punters were well and truly on top after the TAB Hall Mark Stakes (1200 metres).

Splintex landed a decent move which  began on Wednesday when markets first opened. At that point, TAB went up $11 about the Newnham-trained horse and constant support saw it come into $6 this morning.

Further backing throughout the day saw him come into $4.40 and claim favouritism from Eleven Eleven ($3.50-$5-$4.60) which blew for most of the week.

Of the others, Victorem ($7.50-$13) ran a good race to defy the betting drift.

BETS: Splintex $1,200 @ $6, $2,000 e/w @ $5/$1.90

BETS: Signore Fox $2,000 e/w @ $5.50/$2

BETS: Deprive $5,600 @ $2.40 PLACE

RACE SIX

The huge push for Port Louis wasn’t far off landing in the Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes (1600 metres) but in the end, it was Captivant that took out the Group One.

Port Louis opened $34 on Wednesday and came in for support right throughout the week. Even this morning, $15 was still available but by the time the race rolled around, $5 was on the table.

To say it was one of the strongest pushes in a Group One race in recent times would be an understatement!

Captivant ($4.20-$5) got out in the market slightly but attracted plenty of decent bets. He was the fourth most popular runner in terms of money held behind Hilal, Converge ($6.50-$5.50) and Port Louis.

Hilal went around nearly twice as popular as anything else.

BETS: Captivant $2,000 @ $4.80

BETS: Hilal $3,460 @ $4.40, $2,500 @ $4.20, $1,500 @ $4.20, $1,400 @ $4, $11,650 @ $1.65 PLACE

RACE SEVEN

It was Chris Waller again, this time, with Kolding in the Schweppes All Aged Stakes (1400 metres).

Always one of the more popular runners with TAB customers whenever it races, Kolding ($7-$10) was one of five horses to hold six figures and was one of the better tried runners earlier in the week when opening at $11.

Savatiano ($6.50-$5.50-$6) attracted big money and nearly pulled off some great collects for her admirers.

Cascadian ($10-$8) ran right up to the support for him as did Prague ($23 peak, $10-$11) which halved its quote throughout the afternoon.

Masked Crusader was the big disappointment for punters after holding 33 percent of the total investment.

I Am Superman ($17-$23-$18) trimmed up late after being given the tick from the mounting yard by SKY’s Lizzie Jelfs.

BETS: Masked Crusader $3,000 @ $3.30, $3,000 @ $3.20 TWICE, $3,000 @ $3.10, $4,000 @ $1.65 PLACE

BETS: Savatiano $4,500 @ $6, $4,000 @ $6

BETS: I Am Superman $1,000 @ $23, $1,000 e/w @ $19/$4.80

RACE EIGHT

In a fantastic betting race, Rocha Clock landed some good bets in the Yarraman Park Handicap (1400 metres).

Opening the day at $8.50, she jumped at $6 after bottoming out at $5.50. She ended up giving John O’Shea and Rachel King a double after the pair won earlier in the day with All Hallowes Eve.

Nudge flew home to narrowly miss pulling off a great betting move. The Chris Waller mare was $5 favourite but opened $14 on Wednesday!

Of the rest, Bottega ($7.50-$5.50-$6.50) and Phaistos ($7-$9.50) had plenty of admirers as did the newcomer Arapaho ($13-$6.50) which halved its quote.

BETS: Rocha Clock $2,500 @ $6

BETS: Nudge $2,500 e/w @ $5/$2, $2,000 e/w @ $5/$2 TWICE

BETS: Bottega $1,250 @ $6, $1,000 @ $6 MULTIPLE TIMES

RACE NINE

Lost And Running landed plenty of big bets and multis in the Fujitsu General Sprint (1200 metres).

TAB had the John O’Shea runner at $3.40 in the morning but he was crunched into $2.40 midway through the afternoon.

Jumping a $2.80 favourite, he wasn’t alone in terms of big money though with Salina Dreaming ($3.80) holding a fair bit of the investment as well.

Enchanted Heart ($10) had plenty of admirers at the eachway odds while More Prophets ($5) was pretty solid.

BETS: Lost And Running $7,000 @ $2.70

BETS: Salina Dreaming $4,000 @ $3.90, $3,000 @ $3.70, $2,000 @ $3.70
