Star mare It’s Me who was an emphatic winner of The Kosciuszko on Saturday will be spelled immediately after suffering a tendon injury.
It’s Me jumped as the heavily backed short priced favourite in The Kosciuszko and she did not let backers down finishing over the top of Albury galloper Redouble to win the rich race for country horses.
The win of the star country mare meant connections where weighing up a tilt at the $7.5m Golden Eagle but that has been ruled out after she pulled up with a tendon injury following her win.
