Rarefied has worn down favourite Shellscrape to win the MTA Partners Up And Coming Stakes.
Rarefied sat off the speed at the back of the field and flew home late to pass Shellscrape who looked like the winner at the 200m mark. Rarefied who jumped at long odds of $23 showed a lot of class to beat a very good small field including Onemorenomore, Shellscrape, Offhanded.
