4 Romantic Fantasy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the straight bat play in the opener. He ran over 1800m four weeks ago here when off speed and worked home quite well in defeat when second. The extra 400m should be fine and a tick over trial was quite good.

2 Management Folks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing over 1800m at Sha Tin. He got back to near last in the run and was okay late without threatening. Like the rise in trip and he gets Purton aboard.

5 Conspiracy Witness (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1800m here. He got into a decent spot in transit and was there to threaten but for mine, he was one paced, suggesting a rise in distsnce is fine…he’s in the mix.

1 Ragga Bomb (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. He attempted to lead throughout three weeks ago at this track/distance, giving a decent kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through. He should get front end control this time and will take running down.

5 Turin Warrior (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the race mentioned above. He settled off speed and was there to win but just lacked the killer finale. Tricky gate to overcome but commands respect in a winnable race.

2 Prestige Superior (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after racing two weeks back over 1200m here when off speed and whacked in the run to the line. Has won at the mile previously so don’t dismiss him entirely.

6 Bits Superstar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks one of the better bets on the card. He ran over this track/distance four weeks ago when off speed and was there to win I thought but had to settle for a second. Maos ideally, bursting to win…gets a great chance.

5 The Heir (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a model of consistency and should be around the mark, as seen a fortnight back at this track/distance. He was ridden with intent and seemingly had his chance but was still a lass mark when third. He’s a key threat.

1 A Time For Us (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on the fresh side since Feb 14 over the mile at Sha Tin when on speed and just felt the pinch late. Back to 1200m and on the fresh side, he’s one to be included in exotics.

1 Glorious Journey (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning. He placed three weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and worked to the line pretty well in defeat I thought when third. Maps ideally once again and should be around the mark.

4 Fortune Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat. He was unlucky at this track/distance a fortnight back. He got back to near last in the run and was held up at times but was good late when eventually clear. If the breaks go his way, he can win.

7 Dashing Pal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. He had two runs around this time last year and was okay without setting the world on fire. Has had his issues, clearly, but has trialled well enough and fresh at the Mike signals clear intent so watch betting.

2 Youthful Spirits (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the better each way gambles across the meeting. He has raced at Sha Tin his last two and hasn’t been too bad but he clearly saves his best for Happy Valley. Maps to do no work and be very effective late.

9 Dashing Basics (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. Former Aussie that makes his Hong Kong debut, his last run being a win during the Grafton Carnival last year. His trial work has been more then encouraging, I say he’ll run really well at start one in his new home.

11 Hey Bros (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1200m here when dragged back from the wide gate and was never a factor. Maps to settle much closer in the run and be strong at the end.

1 Hayday (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a great each way bet here. He has been freshened up since Feb 19 over this trip at Sha Tin where he got into a decent spot in transit and thought he was there to threaten but just whacked late. He maps to land box seat and from there, only run well.

3 King Profit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the leader and from there, will take running down, as seen at Sha Tin on Feb 22 when leading and giving a reasonable kick but had no answers late for Smart Golf. Tick over trial was quite good, he leads and will look the winner for a long way.

8 Dan Attack (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been freshened up since a midfield effort over this track/distance where he seemed to have his chance but was just fair late. He was found to be lame post race so he had clear excuses. His best is good enough so don’t dismiss.

2 Giant Ballon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the good thing on the program for mine. He was knocking on the door to win and it came at this track/distance three weeks ago, leading throughout and giving nothing else a look in. Drawn wide but think he’ll find the top again and prove too good.

1 Victor The Rapid (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well and should be around the mark, as seen at this track/distance a fortnight back. He got off speed and worked home strongly when second. Maps to settle closer and be effective late.

9 Loving Vibes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing down the straight over 1000m at Sha Tin where he seemed to get into a decent spot in transit but just whacked late. Think the rise to 1200m helps his cause, I am not penning.

8 California Moxie (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the second of the good things. He was racing well without wunning but that changed three weeks ago when giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. His confidence is up again, he can go right on with it.

2 Solid Win (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since a track/distance win, settling off speed before coming with a well timed run to score. Hard to knock the way he’s racing this time in, he commands respect.

9 Trinity Treasure (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a former Aussie making his Hong Kong debut. He’s only had the one run, which saw him win at Grafton in June. Extensive trial work to prepare him, I’d say watch betting.

5 Amazing Kid (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me in the get out. Impressive win three weeks ago at this track/distance, settling off speed and came with a well timed run to get the job done. Likely sits off a good speed once again and will be effective late.

4 Pegas (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth to Amazing Kid and I thought his run was more than commendable given he was wide no cover for the duration. Maos much better this time around, he’s a key threat.

10 Charming Babe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since a down the track effort at this track/distance when off speed and was never a factor. Not sure I could back him to win but could pinch first four.

NEXT BEST: Race Three Number 6 Bits Superstar

LONG SHOT: Race Five Number 2 Youthful Spirits
