Doubt has been cast over the running of the Wyong Cup today as heavy rain has caused issues with water on the track.
Stewards currently only have issues with the running of the final two races on the card due to them being run over 1600m or greater.
The water is affecting the track from the 1600m mark to the back turn. Stewards have said the area is safe for horses to pull up in but not safe to race on.
The Wyong Gold Cup is run over 2100m and is in serious doubt should the rain continue.
