Sheza Alibi is set to headline Saturday’s Group 1 Might And Power Stakes (2000m), with eight horses currently listed as potential runners on the opening day of the Caulfield Cup Carnival.
The Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman-trained star could be joined by stablemate Pounding, while Matt Laurie’s Treasurethe Moment is another notable inclusion.
Ciaron Maher has Another Wil and Land Legend among his possible starters, with Chris Waller’s Birdman also in the mix.
Gavin Bedggood’s Kingswood and Zambardo, trained by Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr, complete the prospective field for one of three Group 1 races at Saturday’s meeting.
Sheza Alibi is the long odds on favourite with betting sites at $1.50 with Birdman given the only hope to beat the star mare, he is at $3.00.
