1. Birdman: Gee I think Birdman is humming. He made an absolute mess of them in the Underwood three weeks ago, a proper mess of them, them including Cosmic Crusader, who spanked the Turnbull field, so the form reads absolutely super and getting to 2000m, he’s well and truly here to play.
2. Land Legend: He’s getting ready for the Cups. He’ll follow them around I suspect.
3. Torranzino: Torranzino is flying towards the first Tuesday in November. He resumed in the JRA Cup where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was far from disgraced. He could pinch first four at a big price.
4. Kingswood: Globe did win this race from the front and caused an upset…I don’t see this horse winning, but he can run first four.
5. Treasurethe Moment: I think she’s cast. Terrible in the Makybe Diva and then in the Feehan, she was fence in run and ran past tired horses behind Pride Of Jenni. I think she should be 2-3 times the price she is.
6. Sheza Alibi: Sheza Alibi is several weeks between runs since the Makybe Diva triumph. Admittedly she did get the A1 run in transit but even allowing for that, she made an absolute mess of them…that form wasn’t franked in the Turnbull, and she is a query at 2000m…they are the knocks, but she is a star.
