Larrikin jockey Noel Callow has been taken to hospital after a fall on the way to the barriers at Geelong on Friday.
Callow was dislodged by Team Hawkes-trained two-year-old Turnstar prior to the first race on the card at Geelong.
The 45 year-old jockey who has had a rough week after being grilled by stewards over a a misleading tweet reportedly complained of soreness to the arms and legs.
Callow was conscious following the incident but appeared in significant pain and will undergo further observation by doctors.
