Group One winner Grunt has run his last race with connections announcing the Australian Guineas has been retired to stud.
Two time Group One winner Grunt has been retired to Yulong Investments new stud at their Nagambie property after they bought into the horse prior to his last preparation which finished with a fifth in the $5m All Star Mile.
Grunt raced twelve times for five wins including Group One wins in the Australian Guineas and the Makybe Diva Stakes both at Flemington over the mile.
