Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes Information

The Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes is a Group l sprint race and is a really good race in terms of shaping the Spring Racing Carnival. It is held at Caulfield racecourse each year over 1400m and is a great form race leading into the key Spring features.

The race is at Group l level and boasts a total prize pool of $500,000 and is at Open Handicap conditions.

The 2018 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes will be run on Saturday the 22nd of September, 2018 at Caulfield racecourse.

The Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes is the logical lead up towards the Toorak (1600m).

The Bobbie Lewis (1200m) has been a strong form race for the Sir Rupert Clarke. Over the last 10 years, four winners of the Sir Rupert Clarke have come through the Bobbie Lewis.
