RACE ONE
Bellevue Hill went from odds-on favourite to its best price of $2.90 in The Schweppervescence (1400 metres).
The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained runner was $2.40 on Wednesday and opened at $1.90 today, however, late in betting TAB took a stand against it which saw the youngster start a popular $2.90 favourite.
Holding approximately 25 percent of the total investment, Bellevue Hill led throughout with Tim Clark to land some nice bets in defeating Strasbourg ($6) and Fortress Command ($10-$7.50).
Outside of the top three, there were several moves in the race with the strongest of those being for the fourth placegetter Autocratic ($26-$8.50).

RACE TWO
Taikomochi gave Waterhouse-Bott a running double after it led all-the-way in the Bisley Workwear Neville Selwood Stakes (2000 metres).
Rated perfectly in front by Sam Clipperton, Taikomochi ($7-$10) held off the grinding finish of Libran ($9-$6) which did have backing to take out the race. Third went to Goathland ($3.10-$4) which was unlucky after having no clear run in the straight.
The most popular runner by far and away was Moss ‘N’ Dale ($2.50) which went out favourite and held four times as much money as anything else in the Group Three.

Angel Of Truth had been specked in the TAB Tulloch Stakes (2000 metres) and that money proved to be spot on.
The Gwenda Markwell-trained runner was as much as $19 just hours before the race, however, good support in the final stages of betting saw it firm into $12.
Corey Brown found the front on the son of Animal Kingdom made it three leaders from as many races in holding off the favourite Madison County ($2.15-$2.90) and Cossetot.
The third placegetter was heavily tried in betting and firmed from $5.50 to start a $3.40 second pick in one of the best moves of the day.

RACE FOUR
Corey Brown registered a running double after putting Invincible Gem in the firing line throughout to capture the Jim Beam Emancipation Stakes (1500 metres).
The mare was three-wide on the speed early before settling outside the leader, Daysee Doom.
Getting the better of the frontrunner in the straight, Invincible Gem ($9-$8.50) was a shade too good for Daysee Doom ($5) with the pair a clear one-two at the finish.
Noire ($5.50) rounded out the trifecta.
Dyslexic ($3) went around as favourite following the scratching of Alizee, however, it failed to finish off while Princess Posh ($5.50) was the second best supported runner outside the favourite.

RACE FIVE
A long range betting move paid off when Siren’s Fury arrived in time to claim the E-Group Security Star Kingdom Stakes (1200 metres).
Opening at a whopping $81 on Wednesday, she was still $21 this morning and constant support throughout the afternoon (along with the scratchings) saw it firm in to $6.
Jockey Tim Clark timed his run perfectly from the rear to overhaul CF Orr Stakes winner Manuel ($9) to get the bob down right on the line. Ardrossan ($4) wound up third in front of Music Magnate ($10-$19) which raced on the speed throughout.
The big disappointment was Estijaab which jumped a $2.80 favourite and held 38 percent of the market. She led and faded in the straight. The Golden Slipper winner held more than twice as much as the next best supported horse.

RACE SIX – VINERY STUD STAKES
The first horse they wanted to back earlier in the week was Verry Elleegant and the way she won the Vinery Stud Stakes (2000 metres) showed why.
TAB went up $3.50 when the final field came out on Wednesday and punters stepped in straight away. By Thursday, $2.40 was available and this morning she was still $2.30.
Carrying nearly half the total investment, Verry Elleegant ($2.10) benefitted from a frantic speed set up front to sweep to the lead midway down the straight and score convincingly.
The Chris Waller / James McDonald combination beat Frankely Awesome ($26) and Aristia ($14-$7.50-$11) while Nakeeta Jane ($5) wound up fourth.
The best supported runners to beat the winner were Nakeeta Jane and Pohutukawa ($6.50), however, even combining the holds of those two runners it still paled in comparison to what TAB held on Verry Elleegant.

RACE SEVEN – TANCRED STAKES
Avilius carried all the big bets and punters were cheering after the gelding saluted in the KIA Tancred Stakes (2400 metres).
TAB offered $2.40 on Wednesday and there was no hesitation from those quick enough to get on, with the Godolphin runner crunched into red figures soon after.
Bottoming out at $1.55 and jumping at $1.60, Avilius went around as one of the best supported runners all day with 53 percent of the total investment riding with him.
Jockey James McDonald had the five-year-old out four and five-wide turning for home, hitting the front soon after and racing away for a convincing win.
In giving McDonald both Group Ones on the day, the James Cummings-trained runner beat Big Duke ($12) and Rondinella ($21).
Of all the best taken on Avilius, one TAB customer chose to wait 24 hours after splashing out $130,000 @ $1.65 on Friday afternoon.

RACE EIGHT
The ‘J Mac’ made it three straight wins as he was made to work to get Mister Sea Wolf over the line in the PFD Food Services Doncaster Prelude (1500 metres).
Sitting fourth in the run, McDonald pulled Mister Sea Wolf three-wide on the home turn and soon hit the front, however, the pair then had to fight off the finish of Abdon ($15-$8.50) to get the money.
Mister Sea Wolf had been specked today and after being $17 on Wednesday, was $12-$8 in the final stages of betting to land a nice move.
Tom Melbourne ($5) once again was popular and finished third in front of race favourite Mask Of Time ($3.60), which led and ran fourth. Mask Of Time was nearly twice as popular as Tom Melbourne, with Mister Sea Wolf next best supported.

RACE NINE
It was the short way home for TAB customers with Star Of The Seas ($2.30) landing some nice bets in The Championships On Sale Handicap (1400 metres).
The Chris Waller runner swept to the lead over the concluding stages, fighting back to beat stablemate Zourkhan ($12) which had headed it at one stage.
Special Missile, which led, ran a cheeky race at $26 and held third.
While Star Of The Seas was the most popular runner in the race, Mahalangunr ($4) almost carried as much money while Zourkhan was next best supported but held less than half of what the other two runners did.

RACE ONE
Mandela Effect defied a late betting drift to take out the opening event of the day at Bendigo.
Opening at $5 on Wednesday and getting to $6 at one stage, Mandela Effect had constant support and bottomed out at $3.20 today before getting back out to $3.90 at the jump.
The Scott Brunton-trained runner powered over the top of the frontrunners late to give Lachie King the first winner of the day.
Indian Thunder ($13) and Lucky Fish ($17), which turned for home in front, held the minors.
Beauty ($3.20) went around as the most popular runner ahead of Mandela Effect but the pair were easily the two that punters wanted. Combined they accounted for 71 percent of the market.

RACE TWO
It was a popular result in the second event of the day at Bendigo – The Big Screen Company 3YO Handicap (2200 metres).
Secret Blaze held more money than any other runner and was actually responsible for just under 33 percent of all bets on the race.
Coming with a sweeping run around the field turning for home, Secret Blaze ($3.60) was punched out by Luke Currie to give trainer Tony McEvoy the win.
Bud Fox ($12) hit the front midway down the running but had to settle for second as he couldn’t fight off the winner, while Transact ($9) filled the minor end of the prize.
Twinspier, which ran fourth, attracted some sizable bets and was actually the most popular runner outside the winner.

Prince Of Sussex attracted some good eachway investments in the Avenue Press VOBIS Gold Rush (1000 metres).
Coming down the centre of the track with a tremendous finishing burst, the $7.50 chance streeted his rivals with Michael Dee aboard. The Matt Laurie runner was the third most popular runner in terms of money held behind Sisstar ($4.60, 36 percent) and Groot ($4, 24 percent).
The Executioner ($14) and Groot filled the minors.

RACE FOUR
Redcore finished best to salute in the Mitchelton Winery BM84 Handicap (1100 metres).
The Greg Eurell-trained runner was three-wide on straightening and gunned down the leaders before holding off Bel Sonic ($4) to salute with Michael Poy on board.
Creativity ($6), which hit the front midway down the running, had to settle for third.
The placegetters were easily the two most popular runners with TAB customers, holding over half the market.
Redcore, which was as much as $15, jumped an $8 chance.

Miss Siska ($4.20) benefitted from a good run on the speed to take out the Bendigo Gold Bracelet (1400 metres).
The Grahame Begg-trained runner was given a quiet time of it by Jordan Childs and the pair were impressive winners, landing a few big bets in the process.
River Jewel ($8.50) and Twitchy Frank ($7.50) were second and third respectively. The big disappointment in the race was La Bella Diosa, which had been as low as $2.15 this morning and started at $2.60. She held more than four times more than any other runner.

RACE SIX
Mosh Music did the job for favourite backers when it was successful in the Macedon Lodge BM84 Handicap (2400 metres).
Sitting fourth in the run, the $3.70 top elect had to pull everything out in the straight not only to get past the leaders, but to hold off the swoopers too.
Jordan Childs got the best out of the daughter of Moshe to land a double, beating Dark Pearl ($9) and the unlucky Desert Path ($4). The latter had been heavily supported in betting and was actually more popular than the winner.

Haripour was the subject of specking throughout the afternoon in the Golden Mile (1600 metres).
As much as $23 in betting, Haripour jumped as an $18 chance and finished right over the top of them to win impressively with Michael Dee in the saddle.
Mantastic ($12) was second giving Chris Waller the quinella, while Red Alto ($101) added plenty of spice to the trifecta by winding up in third.
Furrion ($5.50) jumped as an easing favourite after being $3.80 in the morning while Plein Ciel ($9) and Odeon ($14-$12-$7) had plenty of admirers as well.

Mystery Love kept kicking in the straight to capture the Jayco Bendigo Guineas (1400 metres).
Under the urgings of Michael Walker, the Mick Price filly made it three wins from three career starts after saluting at $6 on the Fixed Odds. She had been $7.50 earlier in the week.
Scottish Rogue, which raced on the speed, finished second at $12 while Saccharo ($8) flashed home from the rear to grab third.
Outrageous ($4.40) went around as favourite and was just behind the placegetters. It held more than double the amount of money that the winner attracted.

RACE NINE
Antah ($6.50-$4) was the most popular runner in the final event on the card and did the right thing by its backers.
The Jason Warren runner held 23 percent of the market and had a great run behind the leader, Simply Invincible ($7-$4.80).
Jockey Jye McNeil peeled around the leaders heels on straightening and put paid to that runner, racing away to score a comfortable victory with Simply Invincible holding second. Barry The Baptist ($51) was a distant third.
Of the unplaced runners, Waging War ($7) was the second most popular runner in the race while Super Titus, a $41 chance on Wednesday, jumped at $9 and was next best.
