Sydney Cup Information

The Sydney Cup is one of the feature two mile races in Australia for all horses, it is held at Randwick racecourse each year over 3200m during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

The race is at Group 1 level and boasts a total prize pool of $2,000,000 and is at Handicap conditions for horses three years old and older.

The 2019 Sydney Cup will be run on Saturday the 13th of April, 2019 at Randwick racecourse.

The Sydney Cup is the longest race held at Randwick each year with the main lead up race being the Chairman’s Handicap.
