The ATC Sires Produce Stakes also referred to as the Inglis Sires’ is one of the feature two year old races in Sydney for the Autumn Carnival and is the second leg of the two year old triple crown. It is held at Randwick racecourse each year over 1400m and is a highlight of the first day of the Championships.
The race is at Group l level and boasts a total prize pool of $1,000,000 and is at set weight conditions for two year olds.
The 2019 Inglis Sires’ will be run on Saturday the 6th of April, 2019 at Randwick racecourse.
The Inglis Sires’ is the main follow up race from the Golden Slipper and it gives runners either a consolation prize from failing in the Slipper or the ideal stepping stone for the Champagne Stakes in two weeks time.
Barriers in the Inglis Sires’ are absolutely vital to winning the race. Barrier one has been successful on six occasions, while barriers one to six have won 21 of the past 30 editions.
