Group l winning sprinter Russian Revolution is the top elect to kick off 2018 on a winning note in the Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield this Saturday.
The Team Snowden trained four year had a two run Spring prep, with the second run being a complete disaster in the Moir behind She Will Reign. He has trialled up enormous and has been set for this race. He is the $4.60 favourite in a wide open race with lot’s of winning chances.
She Will Reign ($6.50) is on the second line of betting ahead of another three year old filly, Catchy, who hasn’t really lit it up in jump outs but has had admirers early, into $8.50 from $9.50. At $10 (out from $9.50) is Snitty Kitty, another that’s been set for this.
Three year old filly Booker, an impressive first up winner in the Kevin Hayes, is $9.00 out from $8.00.
