5 Tales Of Time (Bet Now: $2.15) comes here off the back of an impressive win at Sandown, sitting off speed before being presented clear and he let down with real purpose like a good horse to win well. Keen to see how he goes here.

14 Come Together (Bet Now: $31.00) didn’t beat much in his maiden at Mornington last time but he was arrogant the way he went about it, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in. Good racing style, he should be around the mark.

8 Threads (Bet Now: $12.00) has got his confidence up with a midweek maiden win on the Kenso at Randwick, finding plenty from on speed and was strong to the line in getting the job done. Good racing style, he appeals against these.

4 Pretty Baby (Bet Now: $2.10) spanked them in the Atlantic Jewel at Sandown. Did a bit wrong but once Jamie switched the whip over, she rocketed away from her rivals late. The only knock with her is that she has been in work a long time and whether or not she can maintain her form.

12 Platinum Pearl (Bet Now: $11.00) was scratched from a maiden at Geelong on Wednesday in preference for this. She ran second over 1300m in a Seymour maiden last time, landing on speed and tried hard but just got nabbed late. J Mac booked, she is a threat.

1 Cherry Bomshell (Bet Now: $7.00) looks back on track. Looked in need of the run fresh in the Silver Shadow but was still plain. She then went to the Furious and ran a much improved race, closing nicely late behind Bangkok Hottie. 1400m should be fine, she commands respect.

3 Detonator Jack (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found a new lease on life in recent runs. He was game in defeat behind Darkbonee a few weeks back at Caulfield, sitting off speed and tried hard but had no answers for the winner. Tick over jumpout was good, he should run well once again.

7 Newlook (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate firmer footing after resuming on a sticky track in the Sandown Stakes three weeks ago, getting back off speed and was never a factor behind Evaporate. Better set up here, good upside, I am not dismissing.

5 Torranzino (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one I have specked early for the Melbourne Cup so I am quite keen to see how he goes fresh. He hasn’t raced since the first Tuesday in November where he ran out of his skin when fifth to Half Yours. Extended break but has jumped out super, so watch betting.

I think 2 Chayan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will make a mess of these. Wide no cover in the Furious, she was entitled to knock right up but I loved the way she kept chasing and finding the line in defeat. Fitter, set weights, nowhere near as much depth, J Mac sticks…I think she’s a good thing.

7 Lucky Brook (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is very dangerous of a hard bounce back. I was keen on her in the Cap D’Antibes but for me, I don’t think she handled the straight track. Impressive debut win here, trialled well here, I think she’ll run a beauty.

3 Calamari Ring (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like 1200m suits. She was back in the Cap D’Antibes and while she was never a winning threat, I liked the way she finished. If within range, she has the finale to be dangerous.

1 Mr Brightside (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a big improver I think. Track was too firm in the Makybe Diva and he went from bolting to going backwards, pulling up lame. Hopefully a bit more give in the track this time around, he’s quite dangerous.

Great to see 5 Pride Of Jenni (Bet Now:  $SP.00) back at the races. She last raced in the Doomben Cup when leading and tried her guts out but was run down late by Birdman, a form line which clearly reads well. Recent jumpout win was sharp, she’ll lead and take running down.

4 Zambardo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat I say. He resumed in the Sandown Stakes where he was never a winning threat but I really liked the way he finished his race off. Staying at this distance range I am not sure, but he’ll be strong late and a fast run mile is fine.

1 Diamater (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should have just about won at Flemington last start, getting badly held up but loved the way he closed late. He looks a real Derby prospect but I think will take a power of beating here provided he gets room to move.

10 Lara Antipova (Bet Now:  $SP.00) bounced back big time in the Michael Moroney at Flemington, getting the sweet sit in behind before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose to win and win well. She can go on with it against these.

Not sure that Caulfield will suit 5 Something’s Burnin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) but he is a nice horse for Chris Waller that ran third in the Michael Moroney, working to the line really well. If he can get around Caulfield, he’s dangerous.

2 Too Darn Discreet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will love getting to the mile. She resumed over 1400m in the Let’s Elope and kept chasing in a really good return when bloused late by Pondalowie. Good upside to come and rising in trip, she appeals.

5 Changing Colours (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Lucy Yeomans, the latest win being at Sandown when getting a 12/10 from Shinn and was impressive late in drawing clear to score. Good test here but confident she can measure up.

4 Sea What I See (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looked in need of the run behind Pondalowie in the Let’s Elope. She landed in a decent spot near the speed and tried hard but first up, condition gave way. Better set up here, I am not dismissing her.

8 Napoleonic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is well and truly here to play in terms of clear intent, being set for the race. He has been freshened since the Missile when second to Ninja, held, but stuck on really well. Freshened, the tick over trial was elite, he lands on speed…I think he’ll run an absolute belter.

5 Beiwacht (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given four weeks break since his win in the Memsie, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win and win in quite dominant fashion. Back to 1200m should be fine, I think, and with his racing style, he’ll make sure it’s a proper 1200m contest.

3 Jimmysstar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the very interesting runner. I thought he was a moral in the Memsie but was three/four wide the trip and the hard run told late. Tick over jumpout was very good and if he brings his absolute best, he could easily blow this field away.

9 Harry’s Yacht (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after resuming in The Heath 1100m where he just found them a bit sharp but kept chasing and was far from disgraced in defeat. Straight to 1400m I like and a tick over jumpout was quite good. Keen to see how he goes.

13 Buccleuch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a promising animal for Patrick Payne. He is 2/2 this time in, each win being so dynamic, with the latest coming at Sandown. He’s destined for better races than this it appears, I say he’s really hard to beat.

10 Run Harry Run (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was gallant in defeat last start at Flemington, settling near the speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Welcometotheshow. He’s hard fit, racing well and should be around the mark.
