With rides on two favourites in the four Group 1s at Randwick on Saturday, James McDonald has re-opened the $2.60 favourite at TAB to win the 2020 Nathan Berry Medal during The Championships.
McDonald is aboard $3 favourite Funstar in the Coolmore Legacy Stakes along with $3.90 favourite Danon Premium in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
McDonald was $1.50 favourite before Day 1 of The Championships but only secured three points after riding Nature Strip to victory in the TAB T.J. Smith Stakes.
