2. Smart Legend: Got the job done in the lead up at Townsville last Tuesday, but just. Think a more genuine tempo suits, he’s in the mix.
3. Journalism: Flying this horse, and the stable too. Third to Smart Legend in the race mentioned above, he’s another that will be suited by a genuine tempo and can win.
4. Going Nuclear: Wide no cover in the Townsville Cup and tired late. Maps better but I have others ahead of him.
5. Choir Boy: I think he’s flying but this looks a bit too hard.
6. Hopeful: I think he’s sneaky flying this horse. Down the track behind Smart Legend but the tempo was too slow. Better set up here, I think he’s worthy of an each way speck.
7. Kureder: Race shape against him behind Smart Legend but liked the way he kept chasing. Maps to do no work, knockout hope.
8. Sigirya Rock: Tried his guts out in the Amateurs Cup but just missed. Racing well…but he does seem a bit on the short side.
9. Rajnish: Not up to these.
10. That’s Molly: Savaged the line to just miss in the Townsville Cup. She’ll be strong late. Just depends what start she concedes.
11. Alabama Moonlight: Sneaky good late in the Amateurs Cup but not sure she is up to these.
12. Ella Te Ama: Forgive/Forget the Townsville Cup when wide throughout. Her best is good enough to be dangerous.

I think they’ll want to spear across from the wide gate with Smart Legend so I suspect he may take up the running. Choir Boy could give him the cart across but whether they kick up and hold with Zoology, not sure, but I suspect the tempo will be genuine.
