RACE ONE
Kiss The Bride was one of the more popular picks in the Gold Coast Turf Club Trophy (2400 metres).
The Bjorn Baker runner was third best tried but there was very little separating Home Ground ($4.80-$4-$4.60), Desert Path ($4) and the winner.
The trio commanded 78 percent of the total investment.
One of the bigger bets on the winner netted one TAB customer a collect of $20,000.
BETS: Kiss The Bride $4,000 @ $5, $1,000 @ $4.80
BETS: Desert Path $1,000 @ $5, $1,000 @ $4, $3,200 @ $2.20 PLACE
BETS: Home Ground $1,000 @ $4.60

It’s Me delivered a hammer blow to bookies when storming to an impressive win in the TAB Highway Class 2 Handicap (1100 metres).
The Brett Cavanough-trained mare powered home down the centre of the track to land a nice betting move ($4.20-$3.60). She held by far the most money of any runner in the Highway and commanded 43 percent of the total investment.
Stablemate Pinnacle Prince ($4-$4.60) was the second most popular runner with the pair delivering a one-two for Cav’s Scone establishment.

Frosty Rocks led throughout in the Heineken Handicap (1600 metres) to deliver a nice result for a number of TAB customers.
Frosty Rocks, trained by Bjorn Baker, was $5.50 out to $6 at one stage early in the afternoon but a late rally saw him come into $5. The son of Your Song was the third most popular horse in the race behind New King ($3.60-$3.50-$4) and This Is So ($5.50-$4.60-$5).
New King held more than double what This Is So did.
BETS: Frosty Rocks $5,000 x $6,722 e/w @ $5/$1.90, $2,000 @ $5, $1,000 @ $5 MULTIPLE TIMES

RACE FOUR
Dame Giselle led throughout to narrowly hold off Thermosphere in the Darley Silver Shadow Stakes (1200 metres).
Money had flowed for Dame Giselle in the afternoon but the majority of the market was with See You Soon, however, when that runner was scratched at the barriers, it left Dame Giselle a clear top pick.
Going around as the most popular runner in the race, Dame Giselle was ridden out by Tommy Berry to hold off Godolphin rep Thermosphere ($17) with Miss Canada a fair way back in third.
Of the others, September Run proved to be costly as it attracted some big bets throughout the afternoon.
BETS: Dame Giselle $3,000 @ $4, $1,000 @ $4, $1,000 @ $3.90 TWICE, $3,100 @ $3.60
BETS: September Run $2,200 @ $5.50
BETS: Redoutes Image $3,500 @ $5, $1,000 @ $5, $1,000 @ $4.80
BETS: Thermosphere $1,000 @ $17
RACE FIVE
The late push for Roheryn paid off in the Mostyn Copper Show County Quality (1200 metres).
Out of the James Cummings yard, Roheryn ($6-$4.40) was very popular in the final 20 minutes of betting and went around as the best tried runner outside the favourite, Funstar ($2.80-$3.10).
Jason Collett gave the son of Lohnro a sweet run just off the speed with the pair hitting the front midway down the straight, going on to beat the fast-finishing Probabeel ($12-$18) with Special Reward ($4.80-$5-$4.60) holding third.
Funstar held 37 percent of the market and was winding up late from the rear but wasn’t able to get into the money. Special Reward was also the subject of strong backing throughout the afternoon.
BETS: Roheryn $2,000 @ $4.80, $1,200 @ $4.40, $1060 @ $4.40
BETS: Funstar $8,000 @ $3.10, $1,000 @ $3.10, $1,500 @ $3, $1,000 @ $3, $1,500 @ $2.90, $1,400 @ $2.90, $1,750 @ $2.80, $14,400 @ $1.40 PLACE

RACE SIX
Favourite backers were sent packing after the very popular Adelong failed to run a place in the Bowermans Commercial Furniture Toy Show (1100 metres).
Adelong ($2.10) was sensationally backed throughout the day and was heavily leveraged through multis too.
Holding nearly 70 percent of the total investment, Adelong held more than seven times the amount of money than anything else in the race.
Best supported outside the fav was the winner Sweet Deal ($6.50) with the pair the only horses to hold six figures.
BETS: Sweet Deal $3,500 @ $6.50, $1,000 @ $6.50
BETS: Adelong $2,500 @ $2.20, $2,000 @ $2.20 MULTIPLE TIMES, $2,200 @ $2.15, $2,000 @ $2.15 MULTIPLE TIMES, $1,000 @ $2.15 MULTIPLE TIMES
RACE SEVEN
It was Chris Waller dominating the Winx Stakes with the stable nailing the quinella in the Group One over 1400 metres.
Verry Elleegant ($7-$8.50-$7.50) always has support whenever she goes around, however, this afternoon she was overshadowed by the likes of The Bostonian ($5.50-$5-$6.50) and Master Of Wine ($6) which were the two standouts in terms of money held. Melody Belle ($14) was next best while Verry Elleegant was best of the others.
Finishing powerfully, Verry Elleegant had to kick back and hold off stablemate Star Of The Seas ($23-$34) which had some decent specking at odds. Fierce Impact ($17-$14-$15) wasn’t far off them in third.
Of the rest, The Bostonian held the most money along with Master Of Wine but couldn’t finish off after a good run while Con Te Partiro ($8.50-$6.50) was a significant mover after being double that price earlier in the week. She had at $16 on Wednesday and was still $12 after the scratching of Funstar.
BETS: The Bostonian $4,000 @ $6.50, $2,000 @ $6.50, $1,000 @ $6.50 MULTIPLE TIMES, $2,000 @ $5

BETS: Zebrowski $1,000 e/w @ $51/$12
BETS: Star Of The Seas $2,000 x $1,000 e/w @ $26/$7
RACE EIGHT
In one of the most open betting races of the day, McCormack proved superior to grip on and win the TAB Handicap (1400 metres).
The Tracey Bartley-trained gelding was backed from $15-$10 on the day and attracted some decent eachway support throughout the afternoon.
Kathy O’hara had to throw everything at the five-year-old to get him over the line from the money horse in Think It Over ($13-$8.50) which missed out by a nose.
The disappointments for TAB customers proved to be Poetic Charmer ($6.50), which held the most money with a quarter of the investment, Minted ($5.50-$4.40) and Kinane ($4.40-$6) which carried significant investment also.
BETS: McCormack $2,000 @ $10
BETS: Think It Over $5,000 @ $8.50, $1,000 @ $8.50
BETS: Kinane $2,000 @ $6, $1,000 @ $6, $1,000 x $1,250 e/w @ $6/$2.30, $1,000 @ $5.50 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Poetic Charmer $6,500 x $7,000 e/w @ $6.50/$2.40, $1,000 @ $6.50 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Minted $1,000 @ $4.60, $2,000 @ $4.40, $1,000 @ $4.40
RACE NINE
Zakat got out slightly in the market for the Cactus Imaging Sprint (1200 metres).
Giving James Cummings another winner for the day, Zakat ($11-$15)
Best Stone ($5-$4.40) had its fair share of support as did Icebath ($5) which held the most money in the race.
Jay Jay Dar ($23-$26-$16) was a notable firmer late in betting after SKY Racing’s Lizzie Jelfs made it her ‘Pick of the Yard’.
BETS: Best Stone $11,000 @ $4.80
MOONEE VALLEY
RACE ONE
Punters were sent packing in the Happy 60th Birthday Pete Handicap (1523 metres) when the well tried Widgee Turf and Coming Around couldn’t get the job done.
Coming Around ($1.90-$2.45) drifted all week after opening at $1.80 on Wednesday, however, the gelding still held more than any other runner. The late push came for Widgee Turf ($4-$3.60-$3.70) which nearly held as much as the fav. Between the pair they held 75 percent of the total investment.
Alsvin ($12-$9.50) wasn’t totally friendless and did attract some handy eachway investments. The six-year-old led throughout to upset Coming Around.
BETS: Coming Around $2,000 @ $2.40, $1,200 @ $2.40, $1,000 @ $2.30
BETS: Widgee Turf $1,000 @ $4, $7,500 @ $3.70, $3,000 @ $3.70 TWICE
BETS: Odeon $1,500 @ $6, $1,000 @ $6
RACE TWO
One of the best supported runners all day was Tailleur.
The James Cummings-trained mare was a heavily supported commodity in the Dr Sheahan Plate (1200 metres) despite being a short-priced favourite.
Opening at $2.60 on Wednesday, she was backed almost immediately but today $1.55 was on the table after the scratchings of How Womantic and Southbank.
TAB customers were more than happy to take the price about Tailleur who gave her backers no cause for concern, leading throughout for a very comfortable win.
Tailleur held approximately 70 percent of the market.
BETS: Tailleur $2,000 @ $1.65, $2,000 @ $1.60 MULTIPLE TIMES, $1,000 @ $1.60 MULTIPLE TIMES, $10,000 @ $1.55, $6,000 @ $1.55, $2,500 @ $1.55, $2,250 @ $1.55, $2,206 @ $1.55, $1,700 @ $1.55, $1,200 @ $1.55, $1,000 @ $1.55 MULTIPLE TIMES,
RACE THREE
Jenni’s Rainbow was a costly conveyance in the third event on the card.
Going around with nearly three times as much money as anything else, Jenni’s Rainbow ($3.20) could only manage fourth after making her run wider on the track.
Dirty Thoughts ($8-$7), which attracted some strong eachway investment, proved too strong for the leader Clean Machine ($5.50) after sitting outside that horse for the majority of the race.
BETS: Jenni’s Rainbow $5,000 @ $3.20, $1,350 @ $3.20, $1,000 @ $3.20
RACE FOUR
There was some specking at a price for Roland Garros to take out the Inglis 2021 Yearling Sale Entries Handicap (2500 metres).
Opening the day as a $41 chance, Roland Garros attracted some investment at the big price to see him bottom out at $23 before jumping at $26.
Daniel Stackhouse rated the six-year-old perfectly and the pair handled the conditions best to race away to score at double figure odds.
The big disappointments here were the heavily supported favourites in High Emocean ($2.60) and Kentucky Tornado ($3.80-$2.90) which held 66 percent of the money between them.
BETS: High Emocean $1,935 @ $2.60, $2,000 @ $2.50, $1,300 @ $2.50
