Fireburn is deep into the red with Ladbrokes.com.au for one of the Group l races at Randwick this afternoon, the Champagne Stakes (1600m).
The Gary Portelli trained filly has been dominant in the Golden Slipper and the Sires her past two, and is looking to win the Champagne and become the first filly in 30 years to win the 2YO Triple Crown. She’s expected to do so, sitting at $1.50.
She’s Extreme is on the second line of betting but has been quite soft, sitting at $5, out from $3.80. In terms of specking, a couple of each way bets have rolled in for Wealthy Investor, who is now at $126 from $301.
