Champagne Stakes Information

The Champagne Stakes is the feature mile race for two year olds each year in Australia. The race is run in Sydney on the last day of the Autumn Racing Carnival with the race along with the All Aged Stakes the last of the G1’s in Sydney’s feature racing carnival each year.

The race is at Group l level and boasts a total prize pool of $500,000 and is at set weight conditions for 2YO’s.

The 2020 Champagne Stakes will be run on Saturday the 18th of April, 2020 at Randwick racecourse.

The Champagne Stakes is the last race in the 2YO Triple Crown with the Golden Slipper and Sires Produce Stakes being the other two.
