8 Esha (Bet Now: $3.70) added a string to her bow at the midweeks at this track/distance, ridden with a sit and finished best to win and win well. She has class on her side and off last start, she’s one of the hardest to beat against these.

9 Spiethtacular (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after resuming over 1110m two weeks ago at Doomben. She sat on speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite finish the job being first up when second to Manpower. Better for the run, she appeals.

2 Mercian (Bet Now: $17.00) has a tricky draw to overcome but commands respect. He ran fourth at Eagle Farm three weeks ago, sitting off speed and was there to win but just tired late. Think with a patient steer, 1000m should be okay at this level and is a leading contender.

1 Fleetwood (Bet Now: $4.40) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1110m two weeks ago at Doomben, getting the suck run in transit and tried hard but first up, just think condition gave way. Fitter, gun second up record, he appeals.

4 Moulin Miss (Bet Now: $3.90) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1110m at Doomben two weeks back, attempting to lead throughout and tried hard but couldn’t quite see it through. Should land on speed here and take running down.

5 Trapalanda (Bet Now: $4.00) was a total forgive from two weeks ago at Randwick. He was wide no cover for a fair chunk of the race and tired to finish down the track. If he brings anywhere near his best, I think he’s better than these.

2 Chillaxing (Bet Now: $6.50) is in the mix for Tony Gollan after a win at Eagle Farm four weeks ago over 2400m, getting the suck run in transit and finished best to score. Been racing really well this prep and should be around the mark against these.

1 Tapildoodledo (Bet Now: $21.00) steps up to 2400m after racing over 2200m two weeks back when back off speed and was solid late without threatening behind Diamond Show. Like him up to 2400m, not dismissing him.

6 Immediate (Bet Now: $10.00) has been given a five week freshen up since racing over this trip at the Gold Coast. She landed off speed and presented to win but just found one better in Demitasse. She is pretty good on the fresh side and this looks a race well within reach.

4 Rhetoric (Bet Now: $7.00) steps up to 1200m after racing last Saturday over 1000m here. He got off speed and was held up at times but did seemingly have his chance behind Howdoyouzou. That said, he was beaten under two lengths. Hard to beat up in trip.

2 Billionair Baby (Bet Now: $19.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1350m two weeks back at Doomben when off speed and was held up at times but did seemingly have his chance. Back to 1200m I like, bigger track and should be strong late.

6 Think Like Paddy (Bet Now: $6.00) should prove hard to beat for Matty Dunn after a win on the home deck on Murwillumbah Cup Day, sitting on speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Hard to beat against these.

4 Mirra Impact (Bet Now: $7.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile at Doomben, getting a fair way out of his ground but was good late behind Larrikin Rouge. Racing like a rise in trip will suit and strikes a winnable race.

5 Divine Purpose (Bet Now: $18.00) is getting towards peak fitness and is certainly good enough I say. Ridden with intent two weeks back at Doomben and felt the pinch late in the piece. Think with a more patient steer, she’s dangerous at odds.

4 Don’tcha Think (Bet Now: $13.00) looks to have returned well and is one of the hardest to beat off the back of a first up win at Ipswich, sitting just off speed before being presented clear air and let down nicely to win and win well. Fitter and up in trip, bigger track, he rates highly.

2 Think Like Paddy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should prove hard to beat for Matty Dunn after a win on the home deck on Murwillumbah Cup Day, sitting on speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Hard to beat against these.

9 Aratiri (Bet Now: $12.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. She ran over 1350m at Doomben two weeks ago, ridden with intent and tried hard but just felt the pinch. Getting towards peak fitness, she is a knockout hope.

9 Shelstein (Bet Now: $3.50) has found winning form and he can go on with it. Impressive win over 1200m at Doomben two weeks ago, sitting off speed and coming with a well timed run to score. He’s got good ability and strikes a winnable race once again.

2 Brindavan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and is one of the hardest to beat after a first up win over 1350m at Doomben, giving his rivals a start and a beating in an impressive return. Good record at Eagle Farm and with upside/improvement, rates highly I say.

5 Ser Joh (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win. He tried his guts out two weeks back at Doomben, trying hard from just off speed but couldn’t quite get there when second to Brindavan. He’s knocking on the door big time and commands respect.

3 Sir Artie (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Team Archibald. Impressive win two back at Eagle Farm before going to Rosehill where he was quite good against the pattern behind Althoff. Like him back to Brisbane and if the track is playing fair, he is a good thing.

5 Warby (Bet Now: $7.50) comes back to 1400m after racing over the mile two weeks ago at Doomben, chasing strongly from off speed when third to Express Payment. He is much better suited at 1400m and is one of the hardest to beat I say.

6 Brindavan (Bet Now: $2.70) looks to have returned well and is one of the hardest to beat after a first up win over 1350m at Doomben, giving his rivals a start and a beating in an impressive return. Good record at Eagle Farm and with upside/improvement, rates highly I say.

14 Armand (Bet Now: $14.00) looks a nice horse. He has done little wrong in a two start career, the latest run being over 1100m at Beaudesert when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort. The rise to 1200m on the bigger track…looks a good set up, so I say he commands respect.

2 Stormland (Bet Now: $4.00) ran a narrow second at this track/distance last Saturday, trying hard from just off speed when second to Strada Varenna. That was his first run in a month so with good room for improvement, he appeals.

12 Maria Clara (Bet Now: $6.50) was an impressive winner over this trip two weeks ago at Doomben, sitting off speed and coming with a well timed run to win and win well. Takes on older horses this time around but hard to knock the way she’s going.

Keen to be with 13 Yoshinobu (Bet Now: $14.00) in the get out. This guy ran over 1250m at Canterbury last start when off speed and worked home with purpose when third to Unstopabull. Gets right down in the weights, he’ll be strong late…keen.

3 Hell (Bet Now: $4.60) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance, sitting in front and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when a close up fourth to Taltarni Fields. Good racing style, should lead and take running down.

7 Pocketmoney (Bet Now: $27.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since July 18 at Doomben when down the track over the mile behind Daggers, who was flying at the time. Fresh legs at 1200m, I think she’s one for exotics.

NEXT BEST: Race Three Numnber 5 Trapalanda

LONG SHOT: Race Nine Number 14 Armand
