He ran third in the Clarendon at Hawkesbury, getting back off the speed and was held up at times but found the line with real purpose. Tick over trial last week was electric, Blinkers first time, keen.

3 Sarapo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a juvenile with talent. He debuted at Gosford a few weeks ago for Chris Waller when on speed and he tried hard to close off and win but had no answers late for stablemate Hidden Achivement. Better for the run, he appeals.

5 Swift Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1300m after debuting over 1000m at Warwick Farm. He got back in the run and while he was never a winning threat, his finale was pretty good in defeat behind Regulated Affair. Like him up in trip, should be strong late, key chance.

9 New Pharoah (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should love the rise to 1500m after racing last Friday at Scone over 1300m where he got a fair way out of his ground but rocketed late to just miss when second to Tasoraay. He was a month between runs between runs so fitter and up in trip, he appeals.

1 Canadian Ruler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs for Matty Dale, four weeks between runs since a Highway win at Hawkesbury where he got a dream run in transit under Knock before angling for clear air and he knuckled down strongly to score. Only has to hold his form and he’ll be around the mark.

5 Heir Jordan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He has had two runs back in town to prepare, first up coming in a Highway at Randwick before going to the midweeks at Canterbury when far from disgraced in defeat behind No Drama. That form reads well and maps ideally.

7 Lady Extreme (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Blake Ryan trained mare that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Jan 18 in a Midway over 1200m here when far from disgraced in defeat behind a quality filly, Shohisha. Resumes without a trial but the stable usually have them ready to go.

10 Don’t Doubt Merlin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a David Pfieffer trained galloper that resumes. This stable does like to target a Midway and this guy looks to have trialled up very well for the return so i say watch the market and see what it does.

1 Zulfiqar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came behind Miss Icelandic at Randwick a few weeks back when off speed and was far from disgraced in defeat I thought the Victorian mare. Had trialled well prior and has a touch of quality about him.

12 Like Lukey (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has returned well and is a key chance after resuming last Friday in the Country Cup at Scone when off speed and chased with purpose when second to Who Ever Thought. Fitter, up in trip, she had trialled like a rocket prior, she’s a winning threat for sure.

9 Kundabung (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up to 1500m after a maiden win on the Kenso where he got better as the race went on, drawing clear from off the speed to win impressively. Better for that run and win, and up to 1500m, he’s one of the leading contenders.

14 Scorching Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is two weeks between runs since racing at Scone over 1300m. He got a fair way off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat. The rise in trip to 1500m suits and has home track advantage.

13 Ellipsis (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs for Bjorn Baker, having not raced since April 21 when an impressive first up winner at the Easter Monday meeting at Canterbury, sitting wide no cover but she found under pressure to fend them off and score. Tick over trial was sharp and is a short course type. Leading contender.

12 King’s Secret (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He resumed with a narrow but strong win at Gosford before going to Kembla where he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Inoue. Hard fit, 1100m is fine, leading chance.

2 Power Of The Brave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1000m at Gosford when doing a stack of work on speed and that early burn just told late in the piece when fifth to Lulumon. I think with a more patient steer, he can threaten.

7 Little Cointreau (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks hard to beat for Joe Pride. He ran at the midweeks at Warwick Farm last Wednesday when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort when third to Piffyback. Like him up in trip and strikes a winnable race.

4 Enter The Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a win at Gosford where he knuckled down with purpose in the straight where he found late to fend them off and score. Gets in the well after the claim and hard to knock how genuine he is.

2 Rogue Bear (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Kris Lees trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Jan 24 when placing in the Mayors Vase at the Gold Coast behind Queen Air, a horse that some think could be a player in the Melbourne Spring. Better suited over further this guy but he does have a touch of quality about him.

10 Kerguelen (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a nice horse and keen to see him reusme for James Cummings. He is first up, having not raced since Nov 15 at Canterbury under the lights when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat behind Eye Of The Fire. His trial work has been electric, I think he’s a great bet.

9 Unstopabull (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and is one of the key chances after resuming at Scone two weeks ago where he was off one soft trial and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there behind Zealously. Fitter and up to 1200m, he appeals.

7 Iron Man (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well for Ed O’Rourke but is finding it hard to win. He ran behind Able Willie a few weeks back at Hawkesbury and was there to win but just couldn’t quite finish his race off when fourth. His best likely sees him win, and he can win this for sure, but it’s just about last chance territory.

7 Kadavar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and is one of the key chances. He resumed in the Scone Cup where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, his finale was more than sound I thought in a strong resumption. Might want one more and a further rise in trip, but off the first up effort, he can win.

1 Major Beel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is just about at peak fitness and with a good racing style, he appeals as a key chance. He attempted to lead throughout in the Scone Cup and did give a mini kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through when fifth to Tavi Time. Like him up in trip, he should get front end control and take running down.

16 Bacio Del Mist (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will be strong late and her best is good enough to threaten at odds. She ran behind Cormac T two weeks back at Scone where she found them too sharp but the last past of her race was quite good. Not sure she wins, but a must for wider exotics.

20 Anderson Bridge (Bet Now:  $SP.00) needs a few scratchings to get into the field, but if he does, I think he’ll run a beauty. He ran over 1800m on the Kenso just over two weeks ago where he got off speed and kept chasing with purpose behind a nice filly, Ella Hazel. Right down in the weights, maps to do no work and be strong late.

She ran two weeks ago over 1700m at Scone where she got back to near last in the run but she was a real eye catcher late, warming to the task with purpose when a close up third to Cormac T. Hard fit, 1800m, she takes beating.

18 Accapella Sun (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a ticket each way in the last. Matty Dale trained mare that ran at Gosford three weeks ago where she wasn’t entirely suited on the tight track but once balanced up, she found the line well enough in defeat behind Raikkonen. Good track/distance record, she’s worth a throw at the stumps.

9 Left Field (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m after resuming over 1100m at Scone. She got a fair way off the speed but did track up nicely and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when fourth to Zealously. Better set up here, she can win.

15 Totoka (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Denise’s Joy at Scone. She got back to near last in the run but you had to like the way she closed her race off in defeat behind Summer Flame. She can settle much closer in the run and still be effective late. Dangerous.
