9 Attractiveness (Bet Now: $3.20) is a good thing IMO for Team Freedman after her effort behind Arapawa last start, closing well off the speed and was a definite pass mark in defeat. Has good upside to come I feel, she’s hard to beat, especially back to Midway company.

6 Koios (Bet Now: $9.50) ran a game second in the Midway here two weeks ago, trying hard after getting the suck run in transit but had no answers for impressive winner Rolling Magic. Knocking on the door to win and commands respect here.

4 Northern Eyes (Bet Now: $81.00) is a Kim Waugh trained gelding that resumes. I was keen on him doing nice things when last in work but didn’t really fire a shot. Given a good break, has trialled well again and can sprint well fresh so watch betting.

7 Sobek (Bet Now: $3.20) looks a nice horse on the up for Scott Singleton. 3/3 to start the career, the last two coming on the home deck at Scone and each win has been sharp. Good test here against likely types but confident he can measure up.

3 Wayburn (Bet Now: $3.90) is here with fresh legs, having not raced since June 6 over 1100m at Randwick in a Highway, trying hard but just couldn’t quite get the job done when a narrow second to She Within. 1200m fresh signals he’s fit and Nash sticks.

6 Nimble Star (Bet Now: $17.00) should be better for the first up run, which came four weeks back at this track/distance in the Highway when doing work from the wide gate and just felt the pinch late. Fitter, kind map, he is in the mix.

2 Columbus (Bet Now: $2.00) looks a really nice horse on the up for Les Bridge. Not sure he beat much when a first up winner at Newcastle but the manner in which he put them away was very impressive. Fitter, up in trip, good upside, strong late…like him.

10 Saloon Passage (Bet Now: $26.00) commands some level of respect. Chris Waller trained mare that was an impressive winner over 1400m at Warwick Farm, giving her rivals a start and a beating. Maps to do no work, she should run well.

6 Konsa (Bet Now: $15.00) is racing well for Chris Waller. He ran fourth to Arapawa last start, chasing okay from off speed but whacked late on the testing ground. Firmer deck here, he can run a much improved race.

9 Sphere (Bet Now: $23.00) for me. Not sure she beat much when a first up winner at Newcastle but she led throughout, was green, but had enough in hand and was comfortable in scoring. Good racing style, down in the weights, she’ll do me.

5 Ernaux (Bet Now: $9.00) is suited back up to 1200m after coming back to 1100m when racing at Randwick a few weeks back. Race shape was against her but she kept chasing and finding the line in a pretty good effort in defeat. Better set up here, I am not entirely dismissing.

8 Andrea (Bet Now: $7.50) savaged the line here two weeks ago on testing ground, driving hard late from off speed when second to noted swimmer Sneaky Pee Cee. He was only first up there, so with good upside and rising to 1200m, he should take beating.

1 Anythink Goes (Bet Now: $8.50) is in a purple patch and commands respect and comes back to 78 grade from 88 grade. He ran three weeks ago over 1800m at Randwick when getting into a decent spot just off speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch behind Tazima. Back to this level, he appeals.

8 Velaris (Bet Now: $4.50) comes to Saturday level after a midweek win last Wednesday at Canterbury, finding plenty under pressure when challenged to fend them off and score. That was 1900m so an extra 100m is fine and this isn’t a deep contest.

7 Existential Bob (Bet Now: $6.50) commands respect for Chris Waller. He finished strongly behind All Kinds Of Folk a few weeks back, working home with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat. If he can settle closer in the run, be within range, he’ll take holding out.

3 Enviable (Bet Now: $2.50) looks a Stakes class mare. Got the maiden kill out of the way at Newcastle first up, pretty much winning as if it was a barrier trial. She’s up to this level, and higher, and with good upside, should take beating.

5 Aye Aye Captain (Bet Now: $3.30) is three weeks between runs since racing over this trip at Randwick, seemingly getting every chance but I am not 100% sure she handled the bog. Firmer surface here, she can run an improved race and her best is good enough to be dangerous.

2 Ticklebelly (Bet Now: $5.00) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1200m two weeks back, landing on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. The 1400m query is there, but a firmer deck, front end control, she’ll run very well.

8 Tarzing (Bet Now: $2.70) has to rise a fair bit in grade/depth but he does look a promising horse for Chris Waller. Loved the way he let down to win at Rosehill a few weeks back, getting a 12/10 by Grima and finished best to score. Good test here but confident he can measure up.

7 Silvanito (Bet Now: $11.00) is four weeks between runs since a track/distance win, knuckling down with purpose from off speed to get the job done. Was down to race last Saturday but has been saved for this race and this looks a race well within reach.

4 Zenmaster (Bet Now: $34.00) is a Craig Carmody trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since March 7 when an impressive winner at Randwick in a Midway before being spelled. Stable is going well and 1400m fresh signals intent so watch betting.

10 It’s A Knockout (Bet Now: $3.60) is top seed. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m at Randwick, sitting off speed and worked home strongly when second to Mickey’s Medal. The rise to 1500m is fine, good racing style, and with weight relief, she’ll do me.

2 Run Harry Run (Bet Now: $3.00) comes here off the back of a first up win in the Mildura Cup where he found from on speed and was strong in the run to the line. Good upside to come, Nash aboard, he rates highly.

5 Bold Mac (Bet Now: $41.00) steps up to 1500m after racing over 1300m here two weeks ago when first up. He was back near last and never really a factor but I didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat. He’ll appreciate a rise in trip…might need another run, but he’s going well enough to run a cheeky race.

6 Dark Glitter (Bet Now: $8.50) can bounce back. Big win two back before a plain effort behind Romeo’s Choice two weeks ago, getting off speed and just whacked in the run to the line. The win prior, she can launch late and off that effort, she takes beating.

1 Cigar Flick (Bet Now: $6.00) doesn’t have the best of racing patterns but can launch late, as seen over 1100m here two weeks ago, closing strongly without threatening behind impressive winner Roselyn’s Star. 1300m looks fine and is a leading contender here.

4 Justadeel (Bet Now: $6.50) is a Team Hayes trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since March 28 when down the track over the mile at Ascot. Looks to have jumped out well in Melbourne for the return and gets Nash to steer.

10 Zouripper (Bet Now: $6.50) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday over 1100m at Randwick, working home hard from the back when third to the talented sprinter Hawker Hall. Back to 78 grade, he’ll take a power of beating here.

12 Jarrito (Bet Now: $1.90) comes to Saturday metro level after a dominant midweek win at Warwick Farm where she looked a good thing on paper and duly saluted, winning impressively. Seems quite effective at the short course, she is a key chance.

11 Couples Retreat (Bet Now: $17.00) comes back to 1100m after racing over 1200m two weeks back where she tried hard but the end of 1200m at this level just found her out. Like her back in trip, she commands respect against these.
