4 Audrey’s Lane (Bet Now:  $SP.00) had things to suit in the Midway win two weeks ago but even allowing for it, she was impressive from the front and gave nothing else a look in. Good racing style and with upside to come, she appeals.

10 Annie’s Rose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been freshened up since Feb 7 when racing in a solid Mares race and ran a beauty in defeat behind subsequent Stakes winner Cinsault. Tick over trial was strong and back to Midway grade, she clearly appeals.

5 Broadway Bouncer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran behind Audrey’s Lane two weeks back in the Midway here. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, I didn’t mind the way he finished his race off. If he can be within range, he has the finale to be dangerous.

2 Barnavara (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be putting this field away. Classy European that makes his Aussie debut for Chris Waller, coming off the back of a Group l win in France last year. From all reports, has settled in well to life in Australian and just looks better than these.

8 Portland (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Matty Smith. He has been sneaky good in two runs back, the latest coming in the Ajax, working home really well late behind Cristal Clear. Hard fit now, can settle closer, and he does have class in his own right. Doubt he wins but a must for exotics.

1 Bois D’Argent (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and is a key threat. He was second up three weeks ago in the Randwick Stakes when ridden with intent and tried hard to chase down Alalcance but that early burn told late. Think with a more economical run in transit, he can threaten for multiples.

4 Persian Wonder (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has screamed out as a 1400m/1600m two year old since the debut and he gets here for the first time. He was the real eye catcher in the Pago Pago, closing with real purpose from the back behind Warwoven. He’ll eat up more ground and if he can settle closer, he takes beating.

7 High Alert (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been up a little while but isn’t racing too bad at present. He comes through the Pago Pago when back off speed and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing in a pretty good effort. If he can settle closer, I think 1400m is okay and is a threat.

11 Hardanger (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like she will eat up 1400m and is in the mix. She ran two weeks back in the Magic Night where she got a fair way out of her ground and was okay late without threatening behind Pembrey. Like the rise in trip and is in the mix here for mine.

11 Captain Furai (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third to Modella two weeks ago at this track/distance. He got into a decent spot in transit just off speed and was there to win but couldn’t quite finish the job when third to Modella. Racing in honest form and should be around the mark.

13 Our Queen (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive first up winner at the midweeks at Warwick Farm. She gave them a start and a beating, driving hard late nearer the inside to score. Good upside/improvement to come, confident she can measure up.

7 Althoff (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous if he can settle closer. He got a mile back two weeks back here and while he was never a winning threat, I didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat. Just needs a half positive ride and he can threaten.

7 Varjak (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me each way. Brings much inferior form to others, but I think he’ll eat up 2000m. Loved the way he has attacked the line in both runs back, notably the latest at Gosford over the mile. 2000m, big track, sense of timing to run well in a thin race…he’ll do me.

2 Shangri La Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) pushed Attica all the way in the Spring Champion over this trip so with that in mind, he has to be respected. He comes through the Phar Lap where he led and gave a decent kick but just felt the pinch late. If he gets front end control, he’s dangerous.

3 O’Sheamus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) needs to put his hand up with the Derby in mind. He took on the older horses two weeks ago here and while held, he was far from disgraced in defeat. Back to his own age and rising to 2000m, he’s one of the hardest to beat against these.

1 Ohope Wins (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a really good prospect for Chris Waller and this Kiwi filly could make a mess of these if she runs up to what she did in NZ before coming this way. Her Derby win was extraordinary, the manner in which she gave them a start and a beating was just unbelievable. Tick over trial was good and despite back to 2000m, back to her own age, she is a clear top seed.

4 Panova (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was quite good late in the Phar Lap. Back to near last in the run, she was never threatening but I liked the way she kept chasing in defeat behind stablemate Sixties. She’ll love getting to 2000m and commands respect with that sense of timing.

Insane placement here with 9 Stand My Ground (Bet Now:  $SP.00) but she is a nice filly that was a strong winner first up at Newcastle over the mile, making a sustained run from off speed and was strong to the line in winning. Doubt she wins but can run first four.

6 Idle Flyer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be winning this if indeed she is going to be a force in the Queen Of The Turf. She resumed three weeks ago in the Wenona Girl where she was flat footed when the sprint went on but she picked up and was really good late in the piece. Fitter and up in trip, class edge, she has to be winning.

13 Modella (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive winner at the track last start, giving them a start and a beating, making a sustained run from off speed to score. Good test here but think she runs well.

11 Dark Glitter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an absolute beauty. Several weeks between runs since contesting the Guy Walter when back near last in the run and while she was never threatening, she kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat behind Verona Rose. 1500m is a query, she’ll likely get back to near last but will warm up late.

9 Aeliana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be top seed here. I don’t think she busted a gut in winning the Ranvet last Saturday, with a confident J Mac ride seeing her wear down Lindermann. She should eat up 2400m and if this becomes a sit/sprint, she’s got the change up speed, but if it’s the opposite, she has shown she can stay.

Hard to ignore 1 Dubai Honour (Bet Now:  $SP.00). He is a solid horse overseas but for some reason, not sure why, but he just loves racing in Australia. He won this race last year, I say with luck given Vauban had none. He has eyes on the Queen Elizabeth but his best chance of a win is here IMO and if he is anywhere near right, he’s a clear danger.

7 River Of Stars (Bet Now:  $SP.00) wasn’t too bad in the Sky High. She was never really a winning threat behind Vauban but I liked the way she kept chasing and finding the line in defeat. Not sure she is good enough to win but can run first four.

14 Lord Penman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) may as well have had a barrier trial instead of racing in the Ajax two weeks ago. The market drift said he wasn’t there to play and the ride confirmed that thought process, getting dragged back to near last in the run and was only getting warm very late. More positive ride (you’d hope), and he’s going to run a beauty.

Been an unusual prep for 1 Sepals (Bet Now:  $SP.00) but he is a good horse. He resumed in the Newmarket when ridden with intent to land near the speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite finish the job when fourth to Caballus. Fitter and up in trip, he only runs well.

13 Enxuto (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was backed as if unbeatable in the Ajax but unfortunately for his fans, he just got way too far back in the run and was set an impossible task when third. He’s flying this horse and if he can settle closer, he’ll take beating.

8 La Fracas (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will love getting to 1200m. Loved the way he found the line when resuming in the Maurice McCarten, getting a fair way out of his ground but worked home with real purpose. Better set up here for mine, he takes beating.

6 King’s Secret (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is honest and should be around the mark for Joe Pride. He ran two weeks ago in the Maurice McCarten and tried hard from just off speed but had no answers late for Flying For Fun. Fitter and up to 1200m, he’ll be around the mark.

1 Gangsta Granny (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was ridden with clear intent in the Wenona Girl a few weeks back, landing on speed and under a confident steer from J Mac, class kicked in when required and she finished best to score. Confidence is up, off a win, she commands respect.

BEST BET: Race Seven Number 6 Idle Flyer

NEXT BEST: Race Six Number 1 Ohope Wins

LONG SHOT: Race Ten Number 8 La Fracas
