15 Splash Landing (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat. She resumed in the Nurys maiden from a fortnight back. She was back near last in the run and while she was never threatening, her finale was quite good in defeat. If she can settle closer and be within range, she has the finale to be quite dangerous.

3 Solesun (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take beating for the Clarken/O’Shea camp. He resumed two weeks ago on the course proper here, getting a fair way back in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line in a solid return behind Nurys. Fitter and up in trip, can settle closer, hard to beat.

18 Sanpago (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise in trip for John Hyam. He resumed over 1100m at Murray Bridge three weeks back where he got run off his legs early but he was okay late without threatening behind Hollywood High, who would be odds on against this lot. Better set up here, dangerous at odds.

1 Zestiman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a slight query at 1500m but he is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran behind Blue Stratum two weeks back at The Valley. He got back in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and wasn’t too bad in defeat. Hard to beat with a class edge.

4 Iloverain (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been pretty good in two career runs for Team Jolly and seems to be getting better with racing. He was an eye catcher on debut at Murray Bridge behind Pride Of Jumeirah before going to Gawler when ridden with more intent, leading and gave nothing else a look in to win well. Confident he measures up.

6 Queenoftheair (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks like she has an engine under the hood for Chris Bieg. This girl debuted at Gawler where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never beating Iloverain, her finale was very good in defeat when second. Spots them a start but should be strong at the end.

6 Reservoir Dog (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. That win came over the mile on the course proper here two weeks ago. He looked the winner a long way out. Just a matter of pushing the button and once that eventuated, away it went and he was too good. Hard to beat once again.

3 Peacemaker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on track to race for the third Saturday on the bounce. He has been up forever it seems like but continues to race at a pretty solid level, as seen last Saturday at this track/distance when placing from off the speed when third to Alpine Flyer. The depth here looks stronger but hard fit on a wet track = gold.

5 Silent Don (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with his best. He ran three weeks back over the mile at Murray Bridge when back off the speed and while he was never threatening, he did make up ground and wasn’t too bad in defeat behind Maracourt. Back in trip I find interesting but if within range, he’ll be strong late.

7 The Devil In Her (Bet Now:  $SP.00) brings the A1 form and is in well at the weights. She comes through the VOBIS Gold Stayers at Caulfield where she was as game as ever from off the speed but had no answers late for Ferago, who would be odds on against these. The mini freshen up I do like and also a tick she comes back in trip.

6 Exalted Ruth (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a good track/distance record and can easily bounce back I say. Last couple of runs have come on the course proper here, winning two back before a midfield finish two weeks ago behind New York Hurricane where she seemingly had every chance but was a bit one paced in the run to the line. Off the win prior, she can bounce back.

4 Montepulciano (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be around the mark for Team Jolly. He ran behind New York Hurricane two weeks back. He got into a decent spot off the speed and tried hard, but had no answers for the Victorian raider, finishing third. He is a track/distance winner so he’s to be respected.

5 Musgrave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is sneaky flying for Ciaron Maher and is hard to beat I say. Thought he did more than enough at Ballarat Synthetic fresh before going to Sandown over 2100m when back in the run and made up decent headway late in the piece behind stablemate Khor. Good upside, leading contender.

7 Set To Prophet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks ready to win for Grant Young. He ran over 2000m two weeks ago on the course proper here. He was off the speed, tracked up and chased with purpose but just found one better in Corona Lad. Hard fit, racing well and for mine, is racing as if 2250m suits. Hard to beat.

4 Chosen Miss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be given another look. She ran last Saturday at this track/distance where she was wide no cover throughout and that hard run just told on her in the straight, finishing down the track behind Smiling Assassin. If she can get a more economical run in transit, she’s dangerous.

10 Whenthedeelingsdun (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for the Jaensch camp and has to be rated as one of the leading contenders. She has won two on the bounce, winning at Bordertown two back before backing it up in a harder race at Gawler and was strong to the line here. Harder here, but confident he measures up.

14 Sharendipity (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can run an improved race. Forget she went around behind Hooked On Wealth first up a fortnight back. Tardy away and that sealed her fate, finishing down the track. Prior efforts were quite good and certainly good enough to give this a shake.

19 Commander Meroo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited back to 1250m. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m at Murray Bridge when near the speed and tried hard but I just think 1400m at this level is a bridge too far for him, finishing down the track behind Annihilate. Back in trip, he’ll run a much improved race.

11 Sixteen Reasons (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has the runs on the board and is the class factor. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1200m at Murray Bridge where she got off the speed and kept finding the line in a really good effort behind the very much in form Klabel. Up to 1400m I like and the depth here is nowhere near as deep.

9 Annihilate (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has run well at the track/distance previously and comes here off a win, that win being three weeks ago at Murray Bridge where he gave them a start and a beating, launching late to finish best in a strong performance. Racing in just about career best form and is hard to beat.

5 Magnetic Prince (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. That win came at Mount Gambier where he gave them a start and a beating to win quite impressively. He’s a good horse when right and off a win, commands respect.

It’s hard to get away from 9 See You In Heaven (Bet Now:  $SP.00). She was an arrogant winner of the Behemoth, giving them a start and a beating, coming into the race with purpose before putting the race to bed rather quickly and was dominant late in the piece. Fitter and up in trip, I think good luck beating her.

8 Air Assault (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to be in for a good prep and the stable would love to win this race. He resumed in the Behemoth where he ran third to See You In Heaven. He was back off the speed and held up at times but did get clear in time and closed his race off really well. Up in trip and fitter, he has class and will handle wet ground.

5 My Khalifa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) saves his best for the Parks track. He resumed in the Behemoth and his effort was very good. He ran second and he was great, working home with purpose from near last on the turn. He loves this track/distance, he swims, good upside…a win wouldn’t shock at all.

14 Everglade (Bet Now:  $SP.00) to bounce back. Three weeks between runs for Bain/Taylor since racing over 1200m at Murray Bridge where she tried hard but I just think 1200m was a bridge too far for her behind the in form Klabel. She does seem best suited at the short course so back to 1000m here, I like her.

5 Bristler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Richards/Moyle trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since March 2 over this track/distance when on speed, copping heat, and tiring late behind Run Like Hell. Been given a good break, has trialled well leading and is a short course horse so he is suited here.

11 The Gov (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness for Team Cahill. He ran two weeks back on the course proper here. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he did make up ground and was solid enough in defeat. He’ll be spotting them a start but should be strong at the end.

LONG SHOT: Race Six Number 10 Whenthedeelingsdun
