1. Ceolwulf: He’s right on track for the King Charles and this should top him off beautifully.
2. Gringotts: Did more than enough when resuming in the Winx and gets the soft lead but won’t have the class to hold off the gun mare.
3. Lindermann: SCR
4. Autumn Glow: Autumn Glow aka Baby Winx picks herself. Been kept on the fresh side since the Winx Stakes where she lit up the track and was as arrogant as ever in winning, beating Sheza Alibi. She’s the best horse in Australia, by a mile IMO, and against this lot…good luck beating her.
5. Aeliana: Aeliana…no idea what to make of her Winx Stakes effort. Back last and was never a factor, but her late splits were good and I just think she was run off her legs. Much better set up here and really, with her absolute best, she can threaten the stablemate.
6. Idle Flyer: Stayed at 1400m last start, but even allowing for that, I thought she was awful. Big tick getting to the mile but needs it a touch easier.
