Race One (13:30) : Support Womens Cancer Foundation Handicap 1350m:
Back Me: 2 Royal Tithe (Best Odds: $1.80) ran over this trip at the Sunny Coast last time out and brokethrough for a well deserved win, and did it emphatically. Draws gate one, Luke Dittman remains on, and now that she has won, she can go on with it.
Big Danger: 3 Itz Alrite (Best Odds: $5.50) bungled the start last Saturday and that was pretty much the end of his winning chances. Browne remains on, and with a better getaway, he can definitely beat these.
Roughie: 4 Butter Toast (Best Odds: $13.00) debuted over 1200m here a fortnight back and attempted to lead all the way, but just felt the pinch late to run third to Gracefully Chic. Firmer track will definitely help this son of Written Tycoon, and he will be in it for a long way.

Race Two (14:05) : Body Smart Exercise Physiology Handicap (75) 2200m:
Back Me: 1 Outraged (Best Odds: $2.40) is just bursting to win a race, and this really looks it. He ran over this track/distance last time out and was savaging the line, but the post beat him in picking up Meteorologist. That is the main form race and Outraged is the one to follow.
Big Danger:4 Kaiser Franz (Best Odds: $5.00) ran third in that race mentioned above and he tried his heart out, but was no match. On weights, he can’t turn the tables on Outraged, but he has upside and Jeff Lloyd could get anything home at the moment.
Roughie: 5 Vodnik (Best Odds: $9.00) is on the back up from last Saturday where he ran in an open handicap at this trip when fourth to Uno Five. Bit of a drop in depth here and I like he is racing again seven days later.

Race Three (14:40) : #getrealsupportteal Handicap (Class 6) 1600m:
Back Me: I thought 2 Cramming (Best Odds: $11.00) was just a big track horse, but he put that theory to bed with a dominant win here last time out, beating home Outraged, who ran a beauty a couple of Saturdays back, so the form has held up. He has that winning feeling, and he can go right on with it.
Big Danger: 7 Heart Of A Warrior (Best Odds: $4.60) ran over 1350m here last time out where he sat on speed and fought on very well when running third to Pearly Court. Third up at the mile looks ideal and Jim Byrne takes over.
Roughie: 1 Oak ‘N’ Arthur (Best Odds: $8.50) ploughed through the mud best to win here a fortnight back, aided by a lovely ride from Beau Appo. Rises big time in weight, and is a query on firm ground, but he is fit and will be strong late.

Race Four (15:17) : Happy 50th Paulie McClure Handicap (Class 6) 1200m:
Back Me: 6 Sheiswhatsheis (Best Odds: $2.10) just looks the one here. She drops big time in grade from contesting the Nudgee Handicap (1200m) where she attempted to lead all the way but was nailed in the final stride by stablemate Tina Melina. Drops to Class 6… I’d be a bit surprised if she doesn’t care of this field.
Big Danger: 8 Assertory (Best Odds: $5.50) strung together three wins on the bounce before running third to Anecdote over this track/distance three weeks back. If the track was heavy, or seriously soft, I’d have her on top, but despite a firm track, she can threaten.
Roughie: 3 Awasita (Best Odds: $8.00) is on the back up from last Saturday where she worked home alright late in the piece when fourth to all the way winner Lady Jetsetter. Browne on is a big positive, and I like she is on the back up.

Race Five (15:57) : Dianne Cohen Handicap 1200m:
Back Me: Despite the jockey change, I’ll go with the form galloper 1 Quick Ketch (Best Odds: $3.40). The son of Jet Spur has to rise to 1200m for the first time, but he has the form on the board and drops half a kilo from his last start victory.
Roughie: 10 Quatronic (Best Odds: $14.00) looks the big overs at around the $16 mark. The son of Nicconi bolted up last start at Grafton as a $1.90 pop when sitting on speed all the way and cruising home. Bit surprised to see $16 on offer, because I think he is a single figures chance.
Roughie: 7 Real Ego (Best Odds: $14.00) trialled well prior to resuming at Dalby where he worked home well without threatening when running second to Bizarre Rock, beaten over a length. Harder here, but form rider takes over and despite drawing wide, he is a definite winning chance.

Race Six (16:37) : Turn The Tide On Ovarian Cancer Handicap (0MW) 1350m:
Back Me: 8 Sankara Spirit (Best Odds: $5.50) on top for me here. This former Bede Murray galloper built up a strong record when trained at Kembla Grange, including strong efforts on several occasions in Sydney. No trials leading in, but on form and reputation, he is the one to beat.
Big Danger: 3 Bernitchy (Best Odds: $7.00) just didn’t handle the heavy track at all last time out over this track/distance when finishing down the track behind Pearly Court. His win prior at Ipswich was very good and he should be given another chance.
Roughie: 9 Marshal (Best Odds: $13.00) ran in that Pearly Court race mentioned above and he just didn’t jump the best and that pretty much sealed his fate. He is at his best when he sits on speed, and with a better getaway, along with 52.5kg on his back, he should be right in the finish.

Race Seven (17:17) : GPK- Your Technology Partner Handicap 1350m:
Back Me: 3 Pillar Of Creation (Best Odds: $4.20) was the winner of the Sunshine Coast Cup, but lost the race on protest and was relegated to second to Timeless Prince. He does tend to save his best for wet tracks, but he is reliable on firm ground, and he should get every chance from gate one.
Big Danger: 5 Lauterbrunnen (Best Odds: $3.50) was fantastic when resuming 1110m here when storming home to run a close up second to Heart Smart, beaten about a neck. Drops 4.5kg in weight from that, and though his best form is over further, he will be strong late.
Roughie: 9 Just A Perla was well backed here a fortnight back but failed to let down on the heavy track when running down the track behind Jopa. Gets a weight pull on that horse and will appreciate the firmer surface.

Race Eight (17:55) : Women’s Cancer Foundation Handicap (Class 6) 1200m:
Back Me: 12 Beau Jet (Best Odds: $11.00) resumed over this 1050m here three weeks back and closed off strongly without a great deal of luck when fifth to Kudero, beaten three lengths. He is another that will appreciate the firm surface, and if the speed is on, he’ll charge home better than anything else engaged
Big Danger: 8 Kraftwerk (Best Odds: $6.00) was heavily backed when racing here two weeks ago and despite slogging it out, he got the job done well. Third up now, so he should be ready fitness wise, Byrne remains on and he should take some beating.
Roughie: 17 Bentles (Best Odds: $12.00) resumes here for Tony Gollan. He had three runs during the latter part of the Spring, which saw him win first up at Ipswich before two fair efforts here. Recent Deagon trial was very good and he can sprint well fresh.
