7 Delightful Shecky (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should prove hard to beat here after racing over this track/distance three weeks ago. He got a fair way off speed and closed with real purpose late in the piece when second to Metrical. If he can settle closer in the run, he’ll be hard to hold out.

4 Metrical (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for Bain/Taylor that won three weeks ago at this track/distance. He gave them a start and a beating, producing very good change up speed to win and win well. He can settle closer and still be effective late. Can win.

Fitter and up to 1250m are two big ticks for 6 Komachi (Bet Now:  $SP.00). He resumed three weeks back over 1000m here where he found them too sharp and while he was never a winning threat, his finale was pretty good. Better set up here, can settle closer, dangerous.

8 Anahorish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a daughter of Shamus Award that is on debut for Phillip Stokes. This girl has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one, including a trial win here and went very nicely I thought. Stable is flying at present, watch betting and see what it does.

3 Anecdotal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1000m for David Jolly after a placing over 900m at Murray Bridge where he was on speed throughout and he tried his guts out just couldn’t quite get there and finish it off when third to Major Rumble. He’ll be around the mark.

1 Aramoso (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a must include for exotics. He ran over 1200m at Gawler two weeks back when wide no cover for the trip and the hard run just told on him late in the piece. Back to 1000m I like, he’s a first four contender.

7 Platinum Destroyer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting to 2250m after racing over 2000m at Wangaratta last time when off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought. Gets the rise in trip and gets a hungry Neindorf to steer.

4 Dixie Whistler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second four weeks ago over 2500m on the course proper here. She had a suck run in transit off speed and tried her guts out but found one better in Kirkliston Blu. Very good track/distance record and this isn’t a deep race.

5 High Society Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third in the Kirkliston Blu race from four weeks back. She got a fair way out of her ground and while she was never really a winning threat, I did like the way she closed off when beaten 1.4L. Back in trip is fine and can settle closer in the run.

7 Nicish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it. That win came three weeks ago at this track/distance where she got a sweet sit in transit before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Her confidence is up, I think she can win again.

3 Clarence (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has an awful racing pattern but he has a big finale on him, as seen at Gawler a fortnight back. He got back to near last in the run but rocketed late when second to Bancoora, albeit beaten four lengths. If he is within range, he has the finale to win.

9 Outpost (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a threat at a likely decent price. They rode with clear intent two weeks back at Gawler, leading, and he tried hard, but just felt the pinch late behind Bancoora. He’s found positive form, he can go on with it.

2 Bootlegger (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a juvenile heading in the right direction. He was a sharp winner at Gawler two weeks ago, getting better as the race went on to win by a space and ran okay time for the day. Like him up to 1400m and overall, this isn’t a deep contest.

5 Ethereum Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since contesting the Oaklands Plate at this track/distance. She got into a decent spot in transit near the speed and tried hard but had no answers late for Matahga. Has that 1400m run under the belt, hard fit now, she appeals.

8 Kazaru (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third in the Oaklands Plate three weeks back. She got off speed and kept steadily making ground in a good effort in defeat behind stablemate Matahga, beaten a length. Has progression and can settle closer in the run.

1 Stirrup Cup (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well for Sarah Rutten and appeals. Strong winner two back on the course proper here before going to Gawler two weeks ago where he got the suck run in transit and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when second. Hard to knock the way he’s racing.

4 Mystic Wonder (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it after a win at Gawler a fortnight back, making a sustained run from off speed and knuckled down in the straight to wear them down and win. Was sneaky flying prior, she can win again.

6 Canyon Wind (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1550m after a maiden win over 1300m last Wednesday at Balaklava where he got better as the race went on, knuckling down with purpose late to score. Good test here against likely types, but confident he can measure up.

2 Be Responsible (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can measure up here. Team Jolly trained gelding that was a debut winner at Murray Bridge. Credit to him, he knuckled down with purpose late to get the win, getting better as the race went on. Good test here, but think he can measure up and run well.

5 High Garden (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came three weeks ago over 1250m here where she paraded like she would need the run and while that is how it panned out, she kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat I thought. Fitter and up in trip, she appeals.

1 Placo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to town for Luke O’Connor since a win in a Class 1 at Gawler when on speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. Tricky draw, but will press forward and be around the mark.

7 Beauty Bound (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1100m two weeks ago at Gawler. She got off speed and while she was never a winning threat, she kept chasing and was pretty good late behind Winning Revolution. Fast run 1000m, she can launch late.

4 Grand Host (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He got back and wide in the run. Kept chasing in the straight but was never really a threat behind Sir Now. Depth here not as deep, he appeals for sure.

6 The Gov (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran in the Sir Now race from three weeks back at this track/distance. She did early work to hold a forward spot but that early burn just told on her late in the piece. I think with a better run in transit, she’s a threat at odds.

5 The Golden Fist (Bet Now:  $SP.00) doesn’t have the best of racing styles but it’s hard to knock his recent efforts. I am being quite forgiving of his run at Gawler two weeks ago. He just got too far out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing in a good effort in defeat. If within range, he has the sustained finale to finish over the top.

8 Bit Of A Rebel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should be ready to go after a decent effort at Murray Bridge over 1400m when near the speed, doing work, and stayed on really well in defeat I thought behind Hysterical Lady. Good track/distance stats, he appeals.

4 Makalu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a previous winner at the track and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran on the Pakenham Synthetic last time where he got a fair way out of his ground and was okay late behind Reset The Jazz. Maps to settle much closer and be effective late.
