SA racing this Saturday heads to Murray Bridge for a nine event program. The weather is fine, the track is good (4) and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

2 Episodic (Bet Now: $7.50) on top for me. Clarken/O’Shea trained mare that resumed three weeks ago in the Christmas Handicap where she got back and wide in the fast run race and was never really a factor when down the track behind Dubai Poet. Much better set up this time around and the tempo won’t be as hot. Class on her side, she takes beating.

1 Manhattan Times (Bet Now: $5.50) is hard to beat here off the back of a win two weeks ago at this track/distance where he was wide with cover before angling wider and let down strongly late in the piece to win well. He’s found winning form, he can go on with it.

4 Starlite Valley (Bet Now: $11.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday here. They rode her with a touch more intent, sitting more handy to the speed, and couldn’t quite get involved when down the track behind Prairie Flower. If ridden with a sit, she can be more effective and can win.

6 Headphones (Bet Now: $14.00) has a fab track/distance record and I reckon she’s worth a speck each way. She ran last Saturday at this track/distance where she got too far back after a tardy start but I did like the way she finished her race off behind impressive winner The Mansman. Think if she can settle closer in the run, she’s good enough to win.

5 Divine Fire (Bet Now: $7.00) is racing really well at the moment for Stephen Theodore and has to be rated as one of the hardest to beat here off the back of a win two weeks ago over the mile here, leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. Good racing style and the way she’s racing at present, her vein of form, she rates highly.

4 Saxon King (Bet Now: $9.00) is an improver for Team Hayes. He hasn’t raced since Dec 7 at Ballarat when making his Australian debut and needed the run when down the track behind The Open. Been given a mini break, jumpout since was good and his UK form is good enough to take this out.

11 Layin Up (Bet Now: $1.70) looks the one to beat. She resumed in a maiden two weeks ago here where she was wide throughout but had cover. She angled wider into clear air and loomed to win but just found one better in Press Express. Has that run under the belt, good upside to come, she takes beating.

6 Novela (Bet Now: $2.80) has to be given another look despite his last start flop at this track/distance. He lobbed outside the speed quite comfortably and looked to be trucking but on the turn he had his head to the side and couldn’t quite finish the race off. His best wins this, and is clearly a threat, but from a betting perspective, I say he’s a watch.

10 Kiss And Kaboom (Bet Now: $27.00) has to be given another look. She ran here two weeks back when four wide the trip and that hard run just told late in the piece. Better run in transit this time around, and off her debut, she can take this out.

7 Gotta Go Guru (Bet Now: $2.15) looks to have a bit on these. Andrew Gluyas trained mare that ran two weeks ago over 2000m at Murray Bridge when off speed and trucking before angling wider to make her move and she was absolutely trucking before being clicked up and away she went to win and win well. Her confidence is up, she can go on with it.

8 Cours Vite (Bet Now: $26.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 2500m at Morphettville when off speed and chased with purpose late in the piece when second to in form mare Arugamama. He has that 2500m run under the belt, which should hold him in good stead here.

4 Vegas Knight (Bet Now: $21.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 2000m at Mornington where he was held but far from disgraced in defeat behind Dictionary, beaten under two lengths. Stable has done well when bringing them over so don’t dismiss this guy.

1 Metro Legend (Bet Now: $3.60) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1100m here a fortnight back. He was near the speed throughout and loomed to win but first up, condition just gave way late in the piece behind Manhattan Times. Good second up record, fitter, and has a touch of quality on his side.

4 The Stalker (Bet Now: $5.00) is five weeks between runs for Richards/Moyle since an all the way win over 1200m at Gawler, leading from the outset and he gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. Not the best of records at Murray Bridge but the way he’s racing, he takes beating against these.

5 Just Like Lisa (Bet Now: $31.00) is dangerous with her best. She resumed over 1100m at Naracoorte where she was fresh, keen in the run and couldn’t quite get involved behind Quik Rhapid. She has run well in town previously so better for the run under the belt, I am not dismissing her.

6 El Capony (Bet Now: $4.20) looks to have returned really well for Bain/Taylor. He ran here a fortnight back when wide with cover before angling wider for clear air and finished off strongly when fourth to Pure Bliss, beaten under a length. Hard fit now and up to 1200m, he’s nearing D-Day.

4 Shisuta Bo (Bet Now: $2.80) is flying for Travis Doudle and commands respect here off two straight wins, firstly at Morphettville Parks on Boxing Day before a strong win over this track/distance two weeks ago. Gets in well after the claim, rates highly.

1 Holmes (Bet Now: $15.00) is an Andrew Clarken trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Aug 10 over 2000m at Morphettville when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Corona Lad. He has trialled well leading in, he likes Murray Bridge…doubt he wins but can run top four.

2 Fine Future (Bet Now: $15.00) is hard to beat here I say. He ran two weeks ago over 1100m here. He was ridden more patient than normal and he reacted to it, finishing off his race with purpose in an excellent effort in defeat behind Pure Bliss. Off that effort, he takes beating against these.

1 Anotherhouse (Bet Now: $5.50) has home track advantage and has found winning form, with that victory coming three weeks ago at Morphettville where he had the right run in transit and in a driving go, was too good. He was only second up there, so with room for improvement, he takes beating.

12 Trantoro (Bet Now: $9.50) is a leading contender. First run for Stuart Gower came over 1100m here when just off the speed and presented to win but just found one better in Pure Bliss. You’d like to think with room for upside/improvement, she’ll be hard to hold out.

8 Teardrop Rotation (Bet Now: $4.20) is knocking on the door. She ran over this track/distance two weeks ago when off speed and chased with purpose in the straight but just found one better in Dobbinair. She’ll likely be spotting them a start but I think she’ll be stronger than most at the end.

7 Duchess Of Sussex (Bet Now: $4.00) is a Phillip Stokes trained filly that resumes. She hasn’t been seen since Sep 29 on the Parks track at Morphettville when down the track behind Voltage Point. Has run well here previously and fresh at 1100m, stable flying…watch the market.

2 Gold Spirit (Bet Now: $12.00) is a Grant Kluske trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since Oct 12 over 1000m here when close up and far from disgraced in defeat behind Truly Elsa. Hasn’t done much wrong in his three start career so I say watch the market and see how he parades.

6 Swycho (Bet Now: $5.00) comes here with fresh legs for Michael Hickmott, having not raced since Nov 30 over 1550m on the Parks track where she seemingly had her chance but she battled away and was good in defeat I thought behind Morris Minor. Tick over trial was strong, home track advantage, hard to beat.

13 Suggestive Miss (Bet Now: $7.50) is knocking on the door for Travis Doudle. This mare ran third to San Lucido three weeks back where she loomed to win and looked the winner when presented but just couldn’t quite get there when third. Has that 1600m run under the belt, which holds her in good stead.

3 Big Sue (Bet Now: $20.00) is a Darryl Dodson trained gelding that is a knockout chance. First up winner at Naracoorte before going here on Dec 21 when just off the speed and tired late in the piece behind Angelic Appeal. Hard fit now, one for exotics.

NEXT BEST: Race Four Number 7 Gotta Go Guru

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 5 Press Express
