Race One (11:30) : Fresh For Kids Plate 1000m:
Back Me: 3 Blazing Steel (Bet Now: $7.50) debuted during the Scone Carnival where he was a short priced elect and let down with a strong finishing burst to get the job done narrowly but impressively. Harder here, but he has good upside and the third horse has come out and won, so the form is alright.
Big Danger: 2 El Sid (Bet Now: $11.00) was an alarming drifter in betting when resuming at Canterbury, easing out to $6 after starting $2.80 but nobody told the horse that as he sat on speed and toughed it out for a narrow but impressive win. On debut he took ground off Astern, so the talent is there, and I think he’ll only be better off second up.
Roughie: 8 Vienna Waltz (Bet Now: $15.00) is a handy filly that resumes for Gai. She hasn’t raced since finishing last of five behind Telperion in the Lonhro Plate here in February. Recent Randwick trial win was sharp and she is a winner on heavy ground, so any moisture in the ground won’t be an issue.

Race Two (12:05) : Eric Kime Handicap (84) 1400m:
Back Me: The weight relief is going to really suit 6 Pioneering, (Bet Now: $5.50) who has lumped big weights in all three runs this time in and has been fantastic in each outing. Tumbles big time in weight and she should be cherry ripe fitness wise here. Major, major chance.
Big Danger: 8 Harlem Lady (Bet Now: $4.60) is on the back up from racing last Saturday at Rosehill where she loomed to win the race, but she got too wide on the track and got to the quicksand when second to Kellyville Flyer. I love Waller horses on the seven day turnaround, so she is a serious winning chance.
Roughie: 3 Lofiel (Bet Now: $26.00) resumed at Rosehill three weeks back and was simply dreadful behind Pindan Pearl, who ran well without much luck last Saturday. She has a really good second up record, and Huet takes over, so she is a market watch.

Race Three (12:40) : TAB Highway Handicap (Class 3) 1000m:
Back Me: 5 Portato (Bet Now: $2.40) is a talented three year old that resumes for Port Macquarie trained Jenny Graham. She could have easily found a race for this horse on the coast, but she runs here first up with no trials. Market will be the best guide, but has to be respected on form.
Big Danger: 3 Invienna (Bet Now: $8.00) is a talented galloper that resumes for Greg Bennett. She ran fourth to stablemate Clearly Innocent in the Scone Country Championships Qualifier before running fifth in the Wildcard at Muswellbrook. No trials, but she has city form behind her and is lethal when produced fresh.
Roughie: 2 Three Sheets (Bet Now: $8.00) is a talented gelding that resumes for Jeremh Sylvester. He ran a beauty during the Magic Millions up north before failing to qualify in two heats for the Country Championship, one of those behind Clearly Innocent. When that horse is mentioned in your form lines, you are a threat in any race.

Race Four (13:15) : Your Local Greengrocer Handicap (72) 2000m:
Back Me: At a price, I’m keen on 6 Spanish Stride (Bet Now: $8.50). He ran over this track/distance a fortnight back and just got too far back when storming home to run a close up fifth to Rodrico. Another 100m and he probably wins his way into the Queensland Derby. If he can somehow sit closer, he’ll be strong late and hopefully be too good.
Big Danger: 13 Cilla (Bet Now: $10.00) didn’t beat much last start at Canberra, but the manner in which she did it was very impressive. She spanked them and had them covered a long way out. Would need to improve a bit to threaten I think, but the 51kg impost brings her right into contention.
Roughie: 11 Destination Tucson (Bet Now: $13.00) took an absolute eternity to wind up last start at Gosford, but she got there in the end, and the final 50m was soft. Rise to 2000m is perfect, she has good upside and should take some beating here in a thin race.

Race Five (13:50) : Sydney Markets Foundation Handicap (78) 1100m:
Back Me: 11 Modha (Bet Now: $6.50) strung together two impressive wins before coming here a fortnight back where she took on the older mares and looked a little unlucky not to finish closer when second to Elle Lou. Back to her own age now and drops down to the minimum. Has to go in as a serious winning chance.
Big Danger: 7 Badajoz (Bet Now: $8.50) resumes here for Godolphin. Showed really good promise in the Summer in a couple of really strong races down south. His two trials at Warwick Farm leading in have been sharp, he has excellent form behind him and he does race very well fresh.
Roughie: 2 Sampeah (Bet Now: $17.00) has been given a slight freshen up since running fifth at Rosehill to Sir Bacchus five weeks back. No public trials, but I suspect he would have had a private jump out at Agnes Banks to tune up. On his day, he is a very talented galloper who could definitely win this. Respecting him here for sure.

Race Six (14:30) : Toyota Material Handling Stayers Cup 3200m:
Back Me: This is a disgraceful race. They’ll take forever to get around. But we have to find a winner and I think it’s 5 Zatopaz (Bet Now: $3.50). Was nabbed last start at Warwick Farm in a pleasing effort, but he has upside, stays all day and I think he will eat up the two miles.
Big Danger: 4 Murphy’s Delight (Bet Now: $3.70) comes through the McKell Cup where he just got too far back in a race dominated by those near the speed. He gives the impression that a longer trip will suit him, he has upside and is in the right stable.
Roughie: 6 He’s Dreamin (Bet Now: $14.00) comes through that race Zatopaz contested and his effort was pretty good in defeat with the big weight. Two miles wont be an issue for him IMO, he tumbled in weight, stable is in form and thank god the preview of this race is over.

Race Seven (14:30) : Colin Gray Handicap (84) 2000m:
Back Me: 7 Vassal (Bet Now: $2.40) ran over this track/distance at the midweeks a few weeks back and kicked on very strongly when challenged to get the job done narrowly but impressively. He has trialled since at Warwick Farm and looked pretty good there I thought. Harder here, but there is plenty to like about him.
Big Danger: 8 First Bloom (Bet Now: $17.00) was a real eye catcher over 1800m here two weeks ago where she worked home well late to run fourth to Shalmaneser. She has enormous upside and is a live chance for sure.
Roughie: 4 Defrost My Heart (Bet Now: $15.00) could improve with a bit of give in the track. She hasn’t raced for three weeks since finishing last at Rosehill behind Dance Of Heroes. Down in the weights after the claim, and outside Vassal, this is a thin race.

Race Eight (15:50) : Sydney Markets Limited June Stakes 1100m:
Back Me: 11 Oxford Poet (Bet Now: $6.00) resumed over this track/distance a fortnight back where he did plenty wrong in front yet fought on so strongly to run a close up second to That’s A Good Idea. The query is that he will race flat second up, but I am prepared to take that risk.
Big Danger: This is D-Day for 1 Kuro (Bet Now: $5.00). He has been a non winner for a long time, but this two runs back now for Joe Pride have been pretty good without winning. Extremely well weighted here, draws well and loves racing at Randwick. If he is to revive his career, he has to do it here.
Roughie: 9 Wouldn’t It Be Nice (Bet Now: $11.00) comes through that race mentioned above, where he did have speaking in the market and made up ground late. He ran well in this race last year and looks to be ticking over nicely enough to be a knockout hope.

Race Nine (16:30) : Glenn Wheeler Handicap (78) 1200m:
Back Me: 8 All Summer Long (Bet Now: $5.00) appreciated a strong tempo and clear air to win last start on his home track during the Scone Carnival in what has turned out to be a really hot form race. Yet to miss a place in three outings at Randwick, he handles all conditions and the step up to 1200m on a testing Randwick surface will only be a positive.
Big Danger: 2 Grunderzeit (Bet Now: $5.00) comes through the Le Cordon Bleu race at Rosehill three weeks back where he was given a 12/10 from Avdulla and he looked the winner when he presented, but he just couldn’t finish off and managed only fourth. If he has a bit more desire here, he will hake some beating.
Roughie: 14 Sweet Kiss (Bet Now: $21.00) has been given a month freshen up since running at Beaumont-Newcastle where she scooted along in front and felt the pinch late when fifth to Zedfast, who has run well in town since. Looks the leader here, and down in the weights, she can give some cheek at odds.
