10/12/2025 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Wyong, Wyong Magic Millions Classic day

Seven races will be run and won at Wyong this Wednesday for Magic Millions Day. Weather is fine, track is good (4) and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

1 Oakfield Saturn (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. I want to be forgiving of her run at Gosford last start. She did have every chance from just off the speed but the market hated her and ran accordingly. Maps ideally and gets a big rider upgrade IMO. Straight bat option.

4 Squeezebox (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hit and miss but does have talent for Kim Waugh. He ran second over the mile at Gosford when near the speed and presented to win but just found one better. Tricky draw but will press forward and be around the mark.

7 Justice Please (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 1750m at Muswellbrook last time. She landed near the speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite finish the race off. Down in the weights, she’s a knockout hope in an open race.

2 Daphnes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a bit on these if she brings her best. She was horrendous when resuming at Canterbury when off speed and she didn’t make up any ground in a plain effort. Maps ideally, fitter, up in trip…if she brings her best, she wins.

3 Michaelangelo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the more fascinating runners not just in this race but for the meeting. I thought he would be a Spring Champion/Derby horse but a setback aborted those Spring plans. He returns here off a couple of trials, and I have to say, he has looked like a hurdler in both trials. But, in terms of race day form, he is right in the mix. Watch betting.

8 Saveur (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1350m after resuming over 1300m at Kembla when wide no cover for the trip and the hard run just told late. Maps much better this time around and had trialled well prior, so don’t dismiss.

1 Confess Our Dreams (Bet Now:  $SP.00) wins this comfortably with her best. The knock is that she hasn’t shown her best in some time but in saying that, this is the easiest race she has contested. Far from disgraced at Canterbury last time and with her on speed racing style, she’ll take running down.

2 Hellish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing over 1000m at Kembla when getting back off speed and made up minimal headway behind Spywire. The rise in trip is fine and he becomes more dangerous with a positive ride.

3 Delexo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. He is first up, having not raced since Aug 1 last year when down the track at Hawkesbury. Trial work to get ready has been encouraging, so watch the market.

8 Mystical (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should love the rise to 1100m after debuting in the Max Lees a few weeks ago at Newcastle where she just found them a bit sharp but really liked the way she finished her race off in defeat when second to Seeiaye. Fitter and up in trip, can settle closer, should takes beating.

4 Paradoxium (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to be humming for Bjorn Baker and is one of the hardest to beat. He hasn’t raced since the Breeders Plate when off speed and worked home well when fourth. Trial work has been very sharp, he’s a key chance.

2 Celtic Spy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Farnan that debuts for GaiBott. He looks to have trialled up well enough for start one and this stable loves to win these feature juvenile races so watch the market.

6 Northlander (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a nice horse for Richard Litt. Wide no cover when debuting at Canberra but was trucking before being clicked up by Gibbons and away he went to win in dominant fashion. He is a horse on the up, keen to be with him.

10 Cuban Cigar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) resumes for Tracey Bartley and is one of the key threats after a debut win at Dubbo in August, giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance. The gate does make things tricky but he looks well above average.

3 Justice Warrior (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1100m after resuming over 1200m at Gosford when landing on speed and tried hard but first up, condition gave way. Good racing style and fitter, he’s a knockout chance.

3 Spywire (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned in beast mode for Ciaron Maher and could get back to Stakes grade before too long. Loved the way he let down to win fresh at Kembla a few weeks back, driving hard late from off speed to wear them down and finish best. Fitter, firmer deck is fine, can press forward, takes beating.

2 King Of Roseau (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given a mini freshen up for Peter Snowden since resuming on Stakes Day at Flemington when somewhat struggling on the wet ground but was far from disgraced in defeat. Fitter, firmer deck, he appeals.

4 The Three Hundred (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a GaiBott trained four year old that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since the Coffs Cup when down the track but looked a tired horse. 1200m is on the short side for him but he does have a touch of quality so watch the market.

3 Craft (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way in the last. Nick Olive trained gelding that comes here off the back of an all the way win at Queanbeyan, leading throughout and he had enough in hand to score. Looks the likely leader, front end control, he’ll run a beauty.

5 Wittelsbach (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Archibald mare that was a last start winner at Tamworth over 2100m, finishing best in a driving go to score. Harder here but is a mare heading in the right direction and is in the mix.

9 Vieste (Bet Now:  $SP.00) doesn’t win out of turn but is an honest campaigner for Kerry Parker. She ran fourth to Craft in the race mentioned above, seemingly having every chance but was only beaten just over a length. I doubt she turns the tables and wins, but can run first four.

NEXT BEST: Race Six Number 3 Spywire

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 3 Craft
