4 Amplify (Bet Now: $4.40) is the straight bat play in the opener after a good effort two weeks ago at this track/distance, keeping on finding the line from off speed when fourth to Hovland. If she can settle closer, be within range, she’ll take holding out.

9 Think Like Paddy (Bet Now: $10.00) ran third to Hovland a fortnight back. He got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through. He was 1400m to 1800m so with that run under the belt, he’s dangerous.

2 Social Outcast (Bet Now: $19.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over the mile at Doomben. He got back off speed and seemingly had his chance but just whacked late behind Daggers. Up to 1800m I like and with good upside, is in the mix.

4 Lennox (Bet Now: $7.00) was a total forgive two weeks ago IMO behind Tapildoodledo. He landed off the pace but the tempo was a crawl and he couldn’t quite pick up quick enough. More genuine tempo this time around, he’ll take holding out.

2 Chillaxing (Bet Now: $7.50) ran third to Tapildoodledo. He landed in a decent spot just off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite finish the job well enough. Good racing style and maybe with a bunny to chase, 2400m should be fine.

9 Farwest (Bet Now: $8.00) was just fair two weeks back here behind Tapildoodledo. He landed off the pace and was there to threaten but just whacked in the run to the line. Think with a more genuine tempo, extra 200m, he’s dangerous.

2 The Fixer (Bet Now: $7.00) should take beating here for Jack Bruce. He is first up, having not raced since Jan 24 at the Sunny Coast when placing behind Power Of The Brave. Looks to have trialled well for the return and can sprint well fresh.

12 Mercian (Bet Now: $3.30) commands respect after resuming over this track/distance two weeks ago, closing strongly from off speed but just missed when second to Bonfire Spark. Fitter, he only runs well.

1 Invahir (Bet Now: $10.00) is on the seven day back up after a win last Saturday over 1110m at Toowoomba, sitting near the speed and found plenty under pressure to score. Good test here but do like him back to 1000m and is in the mix.

4 Boonie Boom (Bet Now: $2.50) takes beating for Tony Gollan after a dominant track/distance debut win, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. She’ll take running down from on speed.

11 Tale Of Tass (Bet Now: $5.00) is an interesting runner. Tony Gollan trained filly that is a few weeks between runs since a debut win at Rockhampton where she made an absolute mess of her rivals and ran decent enough time. That was 1200m, so back to 1000m is interesting but she looks to have above average talent.

3 Star Of The Bar (Bet Now: $27.00) is a Desleigh Forster trained filly that resumes. She hasn’t raced since April 29 when a narrow but strong winner at Ipswich, leading throughout and had enough in hand to score. Fresh at 1000m looks ideal and a recent trial was quite good.

13 Neverenoughlego (Bet Now: $2.10) commands respect. He has been freshened up since July 9 when spanking them at Rockhampton, landing big bets. Tick over trial was sharp, good racing style, confident he measures up.

10 Manpower (Bet Now: $3.00) has been given a mini freshen up since a dominant win during the Grafton Carnival, landing in front and gave nothing else a look in, winning well. Tick over trial was sharp and J Orman on is a big, big tick.

14 Billionair Baby (Bet Now: $27.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing over 1400m at the Sunny Coast when just off speed and tried hard but he just couldn’t quite finish the race off. Back to 1200m with fresh legs, he’s dangerous.

11 Gambino (Bet Now: $4.80) is going to need luck from the gate but I think he’s racing really well. He ran over this track/distance last Wednesday, getting off speed and was held up at times, getting clear late and finished off his race quite strongly. If he can get luck, he’ll take holding out.

2 Mean Approach (Bet Now: $5.50) was an impressive first up winner over 1000m here at the midweeks, getting the beaut sit in transit before angling into clear air and he got better as the race went on to score, before repeating the dose last Wednesday over 1200m here. Fitter and up to 1400m, good upside/improvement to come, he’s hard to beat.

13 La Cometa (Bet Now: $16.00) should appreciate getting to 1400m after resuming over 1200m at the Sunny Coast. She got off speed, beaten for early toe, but kept chasing and finding the line when second. Fitter and up in trip, she’s a knockout hope.

14 Hurricane Lu… (Bet Now: $6.50) gee she is bursting to win. I think she should have won two on the bounce before racing here two weeks ago. Thought it was a somewhat sleepy ride by Sutherland re getting clear air and getting going but she kept chasing and finding the line. Bursting to win, she appeals big time.

6 Automne Tree (Bet Now: $3.20) is in a purple patch for Chris Waller and commands respect. He ran second to Livalittle two weeks ago at this track/distance where he was given a 12/10 by Maloney and looked all over the winner but had no answer for the finale of the eventual winner. He’ll take beating here.

8 Mirra Impact (Bet Now: $17.00) steps up to the mile after racing over 1350m at Doomben three weeks ago, getting off speed and was pretty good late in the piece behind Moonan Quartz when fourth. Racing like a rise in trip and this is a race well within reach.

2 Cosmo Centaurus (Bet Now: $4.40) is a Rob Heathcoate trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since May 16 at Doomben when far from disgraced behind subsequent Stakes winner Midnight Dynamite. Trialled well, watch betting.

3 Bossed Up (Bet Now: $5.00) was just fair behind Without Parallel two weeks ago here, getting into a decent spot just off speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. He’s around the mark and is one of the hardest to beat against these I say.

1 Pre Eminence (Bet Now: $7.50) ran second to Zoubaby four weeks back at Doomben. He was just off speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there. He’ll be better IMO with a patient steer, so I say he can turn the tables.

1 Anemacore (Bet Now: $2.60) closed with purpose two weeks ago at this track/distance, sitting back near last and coming wide, making up good ground when second to Sir Artie. Racing well and should take beating here.

6 Space Tracker (Bet Now: $6.50) is in the mix. He ran behind Sir Artie in the race mentioned above, getting into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece. Hard fit, positive ride, he can threaten.

9 Castillian (Bet Now: $9.50) sat on speed at this track/distance two weeks back. He was there to win and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through behind Sir Artie. Think with a bunny to chase, he’ll be far more effective.
