5 Chicama (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can go on with it. Joe Pride trained colt that won his maiden last start at Warwick Farm, getting better as the race went on and drove hard late to win and win well. That came over 1400m and the rise to 1500m looks ideal.

4 Strawberry Impact (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect for me. Blake Ryan trained mare that ran in the Midway three weeks ago where she got a fair way off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat. Back up in trip, genuine tempo to sit off, she’ll be hard to hold out.

1 Belle Detelle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a quality mare for Chris Waller that resumes, having not raced since the QLD Derby when far from disgraced in defeat behind Maison Louis. Two trials under the belt, fresh at 1500m, she can finish off quite strongly.

15 Fan Harder (Bet Now:  $SP.00) appeals for Rod Northam. He ran three weeks ago in the Highway at Rosehill and was solid late behind Adolphus when fourth. He did seemingly have his chance but he stuck on really well in defeat. Back to 1400m I like and strikes a winnable race.

8 Concoction (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has earned a crack at Highway grade after winning two of his three career runs, the latest win coming at Armidale where he gave them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Good test here but confident he measures up.

3 Lambay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1200m at Goulburn when off speed and worked home well when third to Stupendo. Fitter and up to 1400m, he’s one of the leading contenders I say.

4 Jellicious (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been so well placed by Chris Waller and is one of the hardest to beat. 3/3 this time in, the latest coming over 1100m at Warwick Farm at the midweeks when just off the speed before being clicked up by Nash and she had enough in reserve to win. Leading contender.

8 Transcend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) creates interest. Former Kiwi filly that makes her Australian debut for Michael Freedman off the back of a couple of sharp wins, the latest at Sep 27 at Te Rapa. Bred to be a handy one and stable is flying so watch betting.

2 Yankee One (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1100m three weeks back at Rosehill when off speed and while she was never threatening, she kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece. Better set up here, she’s a definite improver.

9 Sonofdec (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a quality animal for Jay Hopkins that should eat up a truly run 1500m here. He ran two weeks ago at Newcastle over 1350m and I think you can easily make a case to say he wins if he gets clear air throughout late in the straight but just got badly held up near the line and Mollie Fitzgerald was lucky to stay on. He’ll eat up 1500m, be strong late…great each way gamble I say.

1 Meridiana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has class and that is going to carry her a long way here. She has been kept on the fresh side since a Sep 27 Midway win at Rosehill when giving them a start and a beating in an electric performance to win and win well. Tick over trial was good, she’ll spot them a start but motor at the end.

3 Broadway Bouncer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran in the Midway last Saturday here. She was tardy away and got back to near last in the run, not really getting clear until it was too late. Convinced she is racing well and if she can jump clean, she’s a threat.

12 United Kingdom (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been given a mini freshen up for Chris Waller, having not raced since Oct 1 when an impressive winner over 1800m at Rosehill, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. Tick over trial last week was quite good and the rise to 2000m is ideal.

2 Sun God (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks like he has had speed trained into his legs and he looks to have come back in very good order. Resumed with a bang at Warwick Farm, giving them a start and a beating, producing very good change up speed to win. Tick over trial was sharp, leading contender.

5 Tatsula (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the State Of America race from three weeks back at Rosehill. He got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but just lacked the change up speed to go with them late but was far from disgraced. Back to 78 grade, he’s a key chance.

8 Istolea Merc (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to Saturday grade for Bjorn Baker off an absolute bang at the midweeks at Warwick Farm when on speed and was under a hold before Ash Morgan gave him a click and he went like a rocket late to win impressively. Has to be one of the hardest to beat off that return.

3 Mogul Monarch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and is a key threat. He resumed three weeks ago over this trip at Rosehill when off speed and chased strongly but just found one better in Roselyn’s Star. Better for the run, fitter, bigger track, he appeals.

4 Memoria (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Kris Lees trained mare that resumes. She hasn’t raced since July 5 at Rosehill when leading and tiring late when down the track behind Cloudland. She is a bomb fresh horse and her trial work to get ready has been more than encouraging.

If there is petrol left in the tank, which you’d assume there is, then good luck beating 2 Jimmysstar (Bet Now:  $SP.00), and it is a big IF. He was the run of The Everest I thought. FINALLY ridden with intent, he was three/four wide the trip but he kept finding the line in defeat behind Ka Ying Rising. Gets to 1300m, no KYR here…clearly top seed as far as I’m concerned.

12 Lady Shenaandoah (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was very good in The Everest. She slipped and lost crucial momentum on the turn just as she was building into the race and just couldn’t quite get there but she was game in defeat. If the breaks go her way, she can win.

3 War Machine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up to 1300m for Team Hayes. Electric winner of the Gilgai but he found them too sharp in The Everest and was never really a factor. Much better suited up in trip and third up, hard fit, he appeals.

I can’t tip against 14 Autumn Glow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) but do I want to back her at the shorts? No. But she is top seed after making it 7/7 in the Epsom. She looked in trouble when Fully Lit sprinted but she ran through the pain barrier, picked up, surged and was dynamic in the run to the line. Fast run 1500m looks perfect, she’ll sit off the good speed and be extremely hard to hold out.

12 Panja Tower (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an elite horse from Japan that commands respect. He has built an impressive record in the land of the rising sun, winning four of six and each win, he has looked elite the way he has put them away. From all reports he has handled Canterbury well, he’s settled in…he’ll run a big race.

Too much too soon maybe for 8 Lord Penman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) but he is a good horse. He was well held by Linebacker in the Silver Eagle but he kept chasing and kept finding the line in a really good effort in defeat. He’ll be strong at the end of 1500m and Waller in a Grand Final…commands respect.

Think there is a sneaky good roughie here in 8 Redstone Well (Bet Now:  $SP.00). He resumed in the Big Dance Wild Card and just lacked the change up speed, but he was strong to/through the line in a good return. Like him up in trip, good upside…in what is an open race, I think he’s worth a throw at the stumps.

6 Wootton Verni (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here in form for Chris Waller after taking out the Coongy at Caulfield. He was absolutely trucking in the run before being clicked up into clear air by D Lane and he showed good change up speed, then good fight to fend them off. His confidence is up, he can go on with it.

15 State Of America (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a win at Rosehill where he gave them a start and a beating, producing decent change up speed from off the pace to wear them down and win. Earned a crack at this sort of race, he appeals.

8 Polyglot (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win for Michael Freedman. He ran at Rosehill three weeks ago when off speed and held up at times but was pretty good late when eventually clear behind Roselyn’s Star. Bursting to get a win on the board and strikes a winnable race.

10 Sharp Shock (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came three weeks ago at Rosehill where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was a definite pass mark behind Roselyn’s Star. Fitter, up in trip, he can threaten.

2 Emirate (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over the mile here in what has turned out to be a red hot form reference, the race won by Perfumist. He got off speed and just couldn’t go the tempo. Back to 1300m, fresh legs, he can bounce back.
