Champion jockey Zac Purton is set to make a return trip to Sydney to ride star sprinter Giga Kick in the Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes at Randwick.
The Hong Kong-based rider will have two Group 1 engagements on the opening day of The Championships on April 4.
In addition to partnering Giga Kick in the TJ Smith Stakes, Purton has also been booked to ride the Lindsay Park-trained Evaporate in the Doncaster Mile.
Purton has previously teamed up with Giga Kick, guiding the talented sprinter when he finished runner-up in the 2023 TJ Smith Stakes.
The jockey enjoyed success on his most recent visit to Sydney when Hong Kong superstar Ka Ying Rising captured the $20 million Everest in October.
