WA’s Group 1 sensation, Dom To Shoot, has clinched a wildcard entry into the prestigious $4 million All-Star Mile, adding more excitement to the upcoming event.
The Northerly Stakes victor, who triumphed over the renowned Zaaki during Perth’s summer carnival, caught the attention of the selection panel with a valiant fourth-place finish in the recent G1 Futurity Stakes at Caulfield.
The wildcard opportunity extends to the top four finishers of the Futurity Stakes, including Mr Brightside, Pericles, Buffalo River, and Dom To Shoot.
Trained by Sean and Jake Casey, Dom To Shoot boasts an impressive track record with eight wins from 42 starts, amassing close to $2 million in prize money.
Although primarily known for his successes in WA, Dom To Shoot has ventured into Victorian turf previously, making notable appearances during the autumn of 2021.
While he faced setbacks in races like the G3 CS Hayes Stakes and the Australian Guineas, his triumph in the Mornington Guineas underscored his versatility and resilience on the racing circuit.
