Pakenham will host back-to-back night meetings this week after Friday nights meeting scheduled for Cranbourne was transferred.
The Cranbourne track has yet to get the approval of all stakeholders after remedial works were undertaken following the discovery of two holes during the meeting on March 17.
The meeting will also be brought forward with the first race scheduled to jump at 5pm due to parts of the track not having enough lighting.
Racing Victoria advises that there will be four minor distance changes:
- 1300m Maiden Plate reduced to 1200m
- 1300m Benchmark 64 Handicap reduced to 1200m
- 1500m Benchmark 64 Handicap reduced to 1400m
- 2060m Benchmark 70 Fillies & Mares Handicap reduced to 2000m
