Emphatic Caulfield Guineas winner The Autumn Sun is off to the paddock
Despite an emphatic win in the Caulfield Guineas arguably Australia’s second best horse The Autumn Sun will not take on Winx in the Cox Plate.
The Autumn Sun blew his rivals away in yesterday’s Caulfield Guineas but the ease of the win could not persuade connections to take on Winx in the 2018 Cox Plate in a fortnights time.
The star colt will now head to the paddock and prepare for an Autumn campaign which is likely to be targeted around the Australian Guineas and the Randwick Guineas.
