Kembla Grange meeting postponed after track fails inspection

Racing at Kembla Grange has been postponed following a Stewards inspection that found part of the track unsuitable for racing.

The issue was identified in a section of the surface beyond the winning post, prompting officials to prioritise safety and abandon the meeting.

As a result, the entire program has been transferred to Thursday, January 22, 2026.

Racing authorities moved quickly to make the call ahead of the scheduled start.

With the revised date confirmed, all race fields will remain unchanged.

Any scratchings declared for the original meeting will be reinstated, with connections required to re-scratch if necessary.
