It should work out this way….shouldn’t it?
If a race is named after a jockey or trainer, they should get a leg up from the mystical powers that be.
Keith Dryden will saddle up one in the race named after him at Canberra this afternoon, and the Gods of thunder and all things fair should gift the race to him.
Right!?
Probably would be appropriate. And his inform runner is WANDONNA (Wandjina-Modonna) who will be supported.
She has a great shot considering she won her past two starts, albeit in easier grade. Plus, she races on her home track at Canberra this afternoon.
But, I think MR KYLIN (More Than Ready-Exceptionally) will spoil the party.
And he represents another fascinating storyline through his young rider.
He’s trained by Danielle Seib and that trainer has gambled by putting a 4kg claimer on top in Hannah Williams.
But what it does is it makes Mr Kylin, who has won two of his past three runs, an almost weighted certainty.
He can sit just off the speed and come home hard, and he’s not opposed to female riders as Kathy O’Hara has won twice on him.
But the booking of Hannah Williams is fascinating because she has NEVER ridden a winner!
Great contest. Maybe quinella the pair.
