Hong Kong based jockeys Joao Moreira and Sam Clipperton have not been allowed to make the trip to Melbourne to ride in Moonee Valley’s feature G1’s due to Typhoon Haima.
Sam Clipperton was booked to ride English in the Manikato Stakes on Friday night whilst Joao Moreira was to ride French Cox Plate hope Vadamos.
Both horses will now require new jockeys which are to be announced this afternoon.
