A protest which was upheld in the Up And Coming Stakes has caused a stir in the stewards room and on social media.
Superium was first past the post in the Group Three Up And Coming Stakes at Randwick but was relegated to second after a protest from James McDonald was lodged who was aboard the eventual winner True Detective.
The controversial decision split social media and caused Superium’s jockey Glenn Boss call it ‘a joke’ which is set to get him in trouble when stewards round up the days racing.
