Oscietra has escaped injury after becoming fractious and flipping over in the barriers at last Friday’s Moonee Valley meeting.
The daughter of Black Caviar was scratched from the 955m race and must now gain further approval in a jump out prior to racing again.
Trainer David Hayes said on Monday that the three-year-old filly had not sustained any serious injuries from the mishap and that he plans to trial Oscietra at Werribee next Monday.
Oscietra hasn’t raced since September last year where she finished a well beaten 9th in a Benchmark 64 three-year-old fillies race.
