Make no mistake, the changing of the guard has started.
Anna Jordsjo, a South Australian jockey of immense talent, just rode five winners and a 2nd placegetter at Port Lincoln races.
She joins fellow Sth Aussie Jamie Kah who rode four winners on Cox Plate day at The Valley and Sydney’s wonder femme, Rachel King who also piloted four winners one afternoon at Randwick, as females who rode massive multiple winners on one day.
Jordsjo started her afternoon relatively poorly….ok let’s call it better, disappointingly, when her mount finished last.
But then she clicked into gear.
She had eight rides on the day and was on fire.
And her haul wasn’t just favs. in fact, none of them were.
Boniface was $3.90
Paulo Pace was $4.80
La Petite Rousse was $5.00
Daskulya was $11.00
Midnight Brawler was $3.80
