Exciting three-year-old Crosshaven will be hoping to gain a start in the $5m All Star Mile in the Autumn.
Trainer Tom Dabernig has lofty ambitions with one of the stables most exciting gallopers with the G1 Australian Guineas to be the horses first test with the rich $5m All Star Mile also on the agenda.
“He’s got an iron constitution and you’ve got to see them transition from the spring to the autumn, but I really think he is an exciting three-year-old,” co-trainer Tom Dabernig told Racing.com.
“I really think he’s got still more to offer … he’d be the one I am pinning my hopes on.”
“With the three-year-olds, the Australian Guineas will be their target and then the All Star Mile, if they happen to get into it, would certainly be big on everyone’s agenda, but they would have to show they are in the right form”
Crosshaven ran fourth in the Caulfield Guineas behind Ole Kirk before upsetting his stable mate Ayar in the Carbine Club Stakes at Flemington during Melbourne Cup week.
