The enigma that is Nature Strip bounced back on Friday night winning his second Group One in the Moir Stakes.
Nature Strip returned in the Concorde Stakes where he jumped slowly and was ridden quieter than normal, eventually finishing lengths back from The Everest contenders Redzel and Pierata but punters who stuck with him were repaid on Friday night where he jumped showed his natural speed and held on to win well.
Following the race trainer Chris Waller called for Everest slot holders to give the horse a golden ticket into the race but if not he will head to the Schilacci Stakes to try and win his way in using the MRC slot in the $14m race.
Despite being a two time sprint winner and beating some of the countries best horses on Friday night slot holders are being cautious with the horse who can put in a bad run and is a little vulnerable over 1200m.
That being said would you give him a slot in The Everest? He is a $15 chance in Everest betting.
